As chains of conditioning and programming shake loose
We start to realize how close we got to the proverbial noose
The noose of entrapment, of timelines made of fear
Which we learn to outgrow each time we hold up our mirror
The mirror to our soul which is always evolving
We look for this teacher and that- all of whom keep us in a system that's revolving
Until we finally learn to seek the teacher within
That's when we discover where our path actually begins
To find the One who truly knows our heart
We have to travel back to the start
Before conditioning came in and tried to enslave
A soul who was always meant to be brave
To look up at the vast darkness and only see light
This journey we are on is our birthright
So these layers of lessons continue on
Giving us a choice to escape from the great con
Do we keep seeking the answers outside or do we seek them within?
Will we listen to that voice that shows us how we win?
