This reminds me that I’ve been meaning to ask y’all what movies or shows have “pinged” you over the years.

In my experience, which has only crystallized in hindsight, certain shows and books have grabbed at my intuition in ways that others do not. Not surprisingly, these have all turned out to be ones that hold deep truths. Either good ones or dark ones.

Some of the most prominent have been:

Star Trek
Chronicles of Narnia
The Lord of the Rings
The Matrix
Dr Sleep
Stranger Things

There have been many others, but these spring to mind first. What stories touched you in this way? And when you look back, do you see what was in them that caused your intuition to perk up?
