By the time your brain registers what your eyes, ears, mouth, nose and/or skin have picked up, you are already living in the past by a fraction of a second.
And your mind has already discarded what it has been taught not to perceive.

Please understand that what you think is real, is not. It’s not even close to the full picture.

Perhaps understanding this will help people to look beyond their individual perceptions. The very act of perceiving means that the input you are getting has already gone through your individual filter. A filter built by you, based on your experiences here since birth. Shoot, probably since before birth.

Ok, so now that Thanksgiving and Black Friday are both passed, who’s got stories?

We had two thanksgivings, one on Thursday and one yesterday with different gatherings of family.
Thankfully there were no massive blow-ups, nor were there any huge revelations. I did have one person tell me she used to be a hard core liberal, and is now pushed to the complete opposite because of the Covid craziness and rise in crime.
And I overheard one person saying that “lab meat sounds like a good idea” for her. 🤦‍♀️ I stayed out of it bc my stepson had it covered. 👏

And I absolutely did not venture anywhere near any stores yesterday so I have no idea what that was like. Seeing a lot of reports that the stores were pretty dead tho.
