Would everyone mind saying a prayer for my husband? Despite the fact that I screamed from the rooftops, he got one dose of the J & J π last March. He has since developed shingles this past week and is in a great deal of pain. Seeing the latest reports about shingles and the complications Iβm doing my best to stay out of fear and within a place of prayer. Heβs our everything ( we have a 3 1/2 year old and Iβm 6 months pregnant) and the greatest hubby and dada. Thanks in advance π

The Seeker walks alone.
Wandering.
She comes to take a rest under a tree and she asks, βWhat can you tell me of life?β
And the tree replies, βYou must grow. Draw nourishment from the earth and strength from the Sun. And when you are prevented from growing, you must push against whatever is constraining you until it breaks, or you take it within yourself and make it part of you. In this way, you will always be free.β
βThank you,β she says.
She steps to the river and asks, βWhat can you tell me of life?β
And the river says, βYou must Flow. And when you are prevented, you must wait until the power of your self overcomes the obstacle. In this way, you will always be free.β
βThank you,β she says, βI am most grateful.β
She looks up at the Sun and asks her question, βWhat can you tell me of life?β And the Sun replies, βTrust. Trust that I will be here for you always. Trust that my warmth will sustain you and you will know the measure of my Love by the way I feel to you. Trust that I will teach you to Love as I do. In this way you will always be free and you will never perish.β
βThank you,β she says and continues on her way.
And in that moment she senses the cool water nearby, and hears the treeβs leaves in the wind. The sun shines on her face and she smiles because she understands.

"IN 1892 THE CELEBRATED PHYSICIST and chemist William Crookes commented on the existence of βan almost infinite range of ethereal vibrations or electrical rays,β which he believed could revolutionize telegraphic communications (174). A few years later, and aided by Crookesβs experiments with vacuums, the German physicist Wilhelm Ro Μntgen successfully produced X-rays, a hitherto unrecorded form of electromagnetic radiation, which he tantalizingly described as βa new kind of invisible lightβ (Ro Μntgen 413; Warner 256). Crookes was quick to speculate as to βthe possibility of links between roentgen rays and the cerebral ganglia,β that an undiscovered organ in the brain might be βcapable of transmitting and receiving...electrical raysβ (Lyons 105; Crookes 176)."
