Forwarded from Cursed Papist Nonsense
Quick rundown:
-Naming Peter “rock” is a title of honor being under God not of power (see how God renames the patriarchs)
-The rock of Peter is his faith and ministry in Christ not in his own humanity (see Origen, Cyprian, Augustine, Hilary, Bede, Chrysostom)
-This is a ministry bound in faith not lineage or location like the Levites
-The keys of heaven are given to all the apostles not just Peter (John 20:21-23)
-The apostles are all sent without distinction (John 20:21)
-Confirming new disciples/apostles never required Peter’s approval (Paul, Timothy, Titus)
-works of ministers are all equally under God (1 Cor 3:6)
-A minister’s authority is invalidated by false doctrine because one obeys God not man (Gal 1:8, Acts 5:29, 2 John 1:10)
-This is not Donatism since it has nothing to do with the validity of sacraments. The sacraments comes through God’s Word not the minister’s power
-Unlike Peter, the Roman Papacy is the Antichrist (2 Thes 2:3-4)

Apocryphal Texts
(III) I Esdras
(IV) II Esdras pt 1
As these two books conclude the KJV 1611 apocrypha, know this is not the end of my coverage of Apocryphal writings. More will appear in the future.
------------------------------
I Esdras, also known as III Esdras, is closely related to Ezra, Nehemiah, and II Chronicles. It is included in the Greek Septuagint as an addition to the book of Ezra.
One problem with III Esdras is its chronology. In the narrative, the reign of the Persian King Artaxerxes incorrectly precedes those of Cyrus the Great (c. 559—529 BC) and Darius I (Darius the Great, 521—486 BC), although some believe this is simply a literary device called “prolepsis” in which a person or event is assigned to an earlier period or represented as if it had already occurred.
Based off the writing styles, some scholars believe the III Esdras has multiple authors.
It is estimated the original text to have been written between 300.BC and 200.AD.
This is quite the gap. Because it does not show up in the known Dead Sea Scrolls and no ancient Hebrew translation exists, we can assume it was written in Greek during the Hellenistic period in Israel roughly 300.BC but before the Septuagint was written around 200.BC.
------------------------------
II Esdras or IV Esdras, also called The Apocalypse of Ezra, can be split up into 3 sections:
Chapter 1-2 is 5 Ezra
Chapter 3-14 is 4 Ezra
Chapter 15-16 is 6 Ezra
Because this book goes by multiple names with multiple subdivisions, tracking the origins are much harder and unfortunately dates are all over the place concerning the different sections.
All we really know about II Esdras is what is in the book and its general history.
II Esdras was not in the Septuagint nor was it found in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
- Compare II Esdras 1:20 with Matthew 23:37, II Esdras 8:3 with Matthew 22:14
- In the Epistle of Barnabas 12:1 it paraphrases II Esdras 5:5 and arguably, Barnabas 4:14 quotes II Esdras 8:3
- Church fathers quoted II Esdras as ‘the prophecy of Ezra’ or ‘the apocalypse of Ezra’ by Clement of Alexandria (died c215.AD) and especially by St. Ambrose of Milan (died 397.AD) quite frequently. Visions of Hermas 1.3 (written between 88 and 97.AD) alludes to II Esdras 7:94.
- 5 Ezra (II Esdras 1-2) was popularly used by early Christians during the 2nd Century AD to promote the idea of the Church being "Gods Chosen" instead of the Jews.
- Jerome, when translating the Vulgate, got the book from a now lost Greek source. This only includes chapter 3-14
- Apostolic Constitutions, written c400.AD references II Esdras at least twice.
- The Ethiopians have chapters 3-14 in their canon.
The way II Esdras is split up may be a little confusing, and its origins even more so, but the doctrines and prophecies within and its comparison to Biblical doctrine is what really count. This will have to be covered in part 2, because there is a lot.

Creation
The Genesis Pattern pt 1
The Seed of Life also known as the Genesis Pattern, is the basic building block of all creation.
The Seed of Life is called the Genesis Pattern because it's shape and structure correlate with the 6 days of creation within Genesis. Let's explore its geometry.
Pictures will be provided here and here.
Part 2 is here.
------------------------------
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
- Genesis 1:1-2
Imagine God YHWH before creation. The Godhead without anything to accompany. It is completely void around the Lord. Before creation, the Lord can physically only do two things: do nothing or create.
God can not move because there is nothing to move relative to.
The amount of time before creation is infinite, because our God has no beginning nor end. Only creation has a beginning and an end.
The Bible actually tells us the history of creation and the order God chose to create.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
- Genesis 1:1
This beginning, no matter the size or when it took place, was the heaven and earth. Assuming the Lord transferred His own energy into the act of creation, and because the Lord is perfection, it's safe to assume the expanse of this energy or conscience would eventually create a perfect sphere with equal and perfect distance from its source, Lord YHWH, no matter the actual shape of this expansion of consciousness.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
-Genesis 1:2
Notice how it says the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Now with matter and space, the Lord may move relative to something.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: ... And the evening and the morning were the first day.
- Genesis 1:3-5
After this first act of creation, the Lord creates light. This is the first full day. As the Spirit of YHWH moves upon the waters, it moves perfectly without flaw to the edge and repeats the energy expansion and creates what's known as the Vesica Piscis.
The Vesica Piscis and its geometry and symmetry is directly related to the mathematics of light.
And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
-Genesis 1:8
The only thing the Spirit of YHWH can do at this point is: do nothing, move, create, or a combination.
YHWH is flawless, so He moves flawlessly, exactly one radius away from the previous sphere to create the next. This sphere is directly related to the Firmament, which will be covered later on.
The pattern continues until the 7th day where the Lord rests after creating a geometric miracle, the Seed of Life. Each sphere of divine energy or conscience is directly related to each day of creation and this will be explored later on.
------------------------------
This Seed of Life is the beginning or seed of all creation. It's end is the Flower of Life. Shapes found within the flower and their importance will be explored later on.

The Bible vs. Don Preston
ancientpathstv
Disappointed with the failed predictions of Dispensationalists, many have embraced the teaching of Dr. Don Preston that Jesus' Second Coming took place in 70 A.D. In this video, we examine Dr. Preston's teachings in the light of God's Word. This is a production of Christ Presbyterian Church, a congregation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Magna, Utah.
