Mount Ararat in Turkey is often believed to be Noah's landing place. There is even the famous Durupinar site with the supposed impression and remnants of the ark. It's very convenient and an easy answer. But is it the real landing site?
Genesis and Jasher clearly say the mountains of Ararat, not mountain. Jubilees claims Lubar is part of the Ararat Mountains. Where is that? My hypothesis is Ararat actually refers to the chain of mountains and Lubar is the specific mountain that Noah landed on.

And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

If they came from the east, how did they find Shinar? Mount Ararat is to the north-west of Shinar! Any mountain to the west of Shinar is disqualified! It must be in the east.

And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

Was there only 15 cubits of water on the earth? 15 cubits is only 22.5 feet... If so, the ark would not float, it was too large and too heavy. The ark was 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide and 30 cubits tall. Its been estimated 60% or 18 cubits would have been under water. Every single mountain on earth was covered. In fact the tallest mountain was covered by at least 15 cubits of water.
Mount Ararat in Turkey is roughly 16,854 feet above sea level, meanwhile Mount Everest is 29,032 feet. This means the flood waters rose about as high as 29,054.5 feet in the 150 days.
The world flooded from the second month (Gen 7:11) to the seventh month (Gen 7:24). The windows of heaven and fountains of the deep stopped flooding on day 150, just as Jubilees 5:27 says.

How then could Noah land on Mount Ararat in Turkey on the 150th day of the flood as said in Genesis 8:4?
Mount Ararat is 12,000 feet too short!

The only mountain capable of stopping the ark is Mount Everest. Every other mountain is too short! Ararat means "Highest Land" after all!

Some have interpreted these verses as Dan's tribe traveling and conquering, being a serpent in the way, naming cities after ancestor Dan. One thing they took with them was the serpent symbolism. We know Greece was settled by the Danites, and later in Ireland. Its been said the Danueb river, the second longest river in Europe, was named after Dan. Where else do we find this?

According to the Encyclopedia Britannica 11th edition Vol. 8 under "Denmark" it states:
"Jutland was acquired by Dan, the eponymous ancestor of the Danes."

Again in The Nine Books of the Danish History of Saxo Grammaticus pg. 91 & 92 book One:
"Now Dan and Angul, with whom the stock of the Danes begins, were begotten of Humble, their father, and were the governors and not only the founders of our race."
"From Dan, however, so saith antiquity, the pedigrees of our kings have flowed in glorious series, like channels from some parent spring."

Is it any surprise the Vikings used snake symbolism in their artwork, ship design, and on their sails? Is it a surprise the Viking ships look so similar to those used by the Israelite Phoenicians? Its interesting to also note most Elder Furthark (runes) are strikingly similar to their Pictographic-Hebrew and Proto-Hebrew alphabetical equivalent.
