This investigation will cover multiple avenues, and will uncover an agenda to keep the identity of the Israelites secret. There are a lot of lies and fabrication when it comes to this topic specifically. Why would anyone do this?

Just to get this out of the way, the ancient Israelites are not dark skinned. In fact there is plenty of evidence to suggest they were fair skinned through archeology, scripture, and genetic research. This will be looked at in detail later on.
See Lamentations 4:7 and this Science Daily article as examples. There are plenty more.
Black Hebrew Israelites are totally off the table. All their claims are laughable.

Jews of today can also be discounted.
- The Jewish Almanac 1980 page 3 states: "Strictly speaking, it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a "Jew" or to call a contemporary Jew an "Israelite" or a "Hebrew." In other words, Jews are not Israelites or even Hebrews.
- In the Encyclopaedia Judaica Second Edition - Vol.10 page 99 it states "Although the name Israelites was revived in some Western countries in the 19th century to designate the Jews, it is of little historical or theological significance..." According to this Jews were not called Israelites in Western nations before 1800s. Of course they would add that little bit afterward.
- According to the Jewish Encyclopedia website, "from 1860 onward the words "Hebrew" and "Israelite" were employed to represent persons of Jewish faith and race."
- Jews and Arabs have Canaanite blood according to genetic research done on bronze-age Canaanites. (see this post)
- Ashkenazi Jews are the descendant of Ashkenaz, the grandson of Japheth (See Genesis 10:1-3). Their genetics show little to no ancestors from the Levant area according to genetic research.
-"But the Bible says Jews!" See this post for the Biblical definition and use of the word Jew for any confusion.
Here is what the Bible says about Jews:
- They wanted Christ to die. Mark 15:12-14
- They killed Christ, the prophets, persecute Christians, forbid gentiles salvation and are contrary to all men. I Thessalonians 2:14-16
- They take responsibility for killing Christ. Matthew 27:24-25
- Their real father is the devil. John 8:44
- They are deceivers who subvert whole houses. Their mouths must be stopped. Titus 1:10-16
- They are the Synagogue of Satan. Revelation 2:9 & 17
etc.

What we can gather from these sources is that the Jews were not called Hebrews or Israelites before the 1800s. Jews are not the descendants of Jacob. Even their own non-religious authoritative books and writings say they are not Jewish.
The late 1800s early 1900s is an extremely important time for the Tartarian truthers out there, and they should consider the information above. Tartaria will come into the mix down the road.

Escaping Egypt

The Bible tells us how the Israelites ended up in Goshen, Egypt with Joseph being the 2nd in command under the Pharaoh himself. The Israelites became exceedingly wealthy and knowledgeable during their time in Goshen. When Joseph and his generation died out, the Egyptians became fearful of the Israelites, they became slaves. The book of Exodus records the beginning and end of their enslavement.

Before the Exodus however, parts of Dan and Judah fled Egypt. Didorus Siculus was a contemporary with Alexander the Great, a great source of Greek history.

“Therefore the native inhabitants concluded that, unless all the foreigners were driven out, they would never be free from their miseries. All the foreigners were forthwith expelled, and the most valiant and noble among them, under some notable leaders, were brought to Greece and other places, as some relate; the most famous of their leaders were Danaus and Cadmus. But the majority of the people descended into a country not far from Egypt, which is now called Judaea ... The leader of this colony was one Moses, a very wise and valiant man.”

“They say also that those who set forth with Danaus, likewise from Egypt, settled what is practically the oldest city in Greece, Argos.”

This group is called the Danaans, who who actually the tribe of Dan. Danaus might very well be Dan himself or of the tribe of Dan. The Greeks hail from the tribe of Dan, which is exactly why in I Maccabees 12:21 says the Lacedemonians (Greeks) are of the stock of Abraham.

Judah's son Zherah had 5 sons, one named Dara or Darda (I Chron 2:6 & I Kings 4:31). Darda is the progenitor of the Trojans and later the Illyrians and Rome. Darda is also called Dardanus, as mentioned by Siculus and Strabo and others.

“Dardanus, who was a man who entertained great designs and was the first to make his way across to Asia in a make-shift boat, founded at the outset a city called Dardanus, organized the kingdom which lay about the city which was called Troy at a later time, and called the peoples Dardanians after himself. They say also that he ruled over many nations throughout Asia [Anatolia].”

Aeneas, the prince of Troy who survived the cities destruction, fled to Italy with other survivors and founded the city Alba Longa. The lineage of Aeneas would eventually birth Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome. The Romans hail from Judah. Is it possible Paul, being a learned ex-Pharisee and scribe, already knew this?
