Angels - Cherubim pt 2

What is the purpose of this creation?

Where the Hebrew word Cherub or Cherubims (plural) derives from is uncertain.
The Hebrew for Cherub is actually pronounced ker-oob, which is similar to the pronunciation an Assyrian word describing the act of "being gracious to/bless" and "to be mighty/great"
In Revelation 4:6-8 we are introduced to the 4 beasts with 6 wings, round about with eyes, in heaven with the likeness of an lion, calf, man, and an eagle.
The beasts have a high role, as they are accompanied by 24 elders worshipping at the throne of God. The beasts also show John the first four seals as they are opened by Christ.
Some have speculated these beasts are Lucifers replacement who was a Cherub, but that's a whole other rabbithole.
These angels are extremely powerful, they magnify the glory of God. Lucifer's tabrets and pipes gave glory to God, just as the prayers and glorying of the 4 beasts in Revelation 4.

Seraphim are a mysterious creature with strange connections. Who are they?

In Isaiah 6 they are described as having six wings with two covering their face, two covering their feet, and two to fly.
In 1 Enoch 60:13 they are listed as one of the angels of power.
The Hebrew word for Seraphim [Strong's H8314] is defined as "a burning/fiery or poisonous serpent with a coper/brass color." It's root word [Strong's H8313] means "to burn or burning."
Fiery serpents were sent from God YHWH in Numbers 21:6 that bit the some of the Israelites to death. It is this serpent that is made of brass and put upon a pole. Is it possible that these fiery serpents are Seraphim?
Isaiah uses a Fiery Flying Serpent as an example of the dangerous nature of Philistia and Egypt in Isaiah 14:29 & 30:6-7.
In these passages, Isaiah describes the fiery flying serpents as the beasts of the south, sometimes translated Negeb, which is where Numbers 21:6 occurred.

Depictions of snakes or serpents with wings can be found all over the ancient world from China to Peru.
Above we can see a wooden statue from ancient China, Quetzalcoatl from Azteca, pictures from Egypt and a pot found in Alabama and a depiction of its carving.
With the large number of flying serpent depictions found across the ancient world, I believe its safe to say the ideas of flying serpents came from the Seraphim, either acting on orders of God or appearing in a fallen state.
We of course can not ignore the mythical flying dragons from Europe and China, as they can be seen as flying serpents but know not all serpents or dragons are Seraphim, as Lucifer or Gadraal the Cherubim was a serpent in the garden of Eden.
Could it at least be possible a large number of Seraphim fell and made an appearance to the ancients as gods or monsters?

Many believe the Ophanim to be Ezekiel's wheels in chapter 1. Are Ophanim really the wheels?

Though the word Ophanim is not used in the Bible, it is listed in the Angels of Power in 1 Enoch 60:30 though there is no physical description of the angel in Enoch. Ezekiel chapter 1 talks about the living creatures (cherubim) and something else accompanying them that resembles "a wheel in the middle of a wheel" that are "full of eyes round about." (Ez 1:16-18)
Some have stated these wheels are UFO, a vehicle for the angels. Some have said they resemble portals or wormholes, while some claim these to be the Ophanim.
Some reasons why people believe these to be UFO craft is because Ezekiel 1:19-21 states these wheels followed the Cherubim, and says "the spirit of the living creature (cherubim) was in the wheels." Also, Ezekiel 1:22, "the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature" echoes a dome shape.
Are these wheels really the Ophanim angels?

The Watchers are a favorite subject of Ancient Aliens, who are they?

Watchers are specifically found throughout 1 Enoch, but not many people know they are referenced in the Bible.
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair...
- Gen 6:2
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD...
- Job 1:6
I saw in the visions ... behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; He cried aloud and said thus, Hew down the tree...
- Dan 4:13-14
Both in Gen 6:2 and Job 1:6 the words "sons of God" is the Hebrew beney' ha- Elohim, which literally means sons of God.
In Dan 4:13 the definition of the word Watcher is "watcher, i.e. an angel" the word springs from the same root word as the word for "opening eyes" according to Strong's Concordance [H5894 & H5782].
Dan 4:13-14 echoes Enoch 66:2 & 82:6, which gives more proof these are the same watcher angels from Enoch.
