My wife has been keeping a file on her laptop of Covid numbers in Ireland since this started last year. Yesterday it was announced there were 1377 cases in Ireland. Exactly 1 year ago there were 21. So WTF is going on here? After mass vaccinations we are seeing huge numbers in the middle of the summer which is unheard of for respiratory illnesses.
