Monkey shot dead after attacking woman outside her home in Oklahoma.

A Dickson woman is recovering after an escaped pet monkey attack that she says she never expected.

Brittany Parker said she was sitting on her couch on Sunday when she saw a monkey on her porch.

Parker said the monkey tried to get into the house, even ripping off part of the door handle. That’s when she called 911.

Ah Sugar Sugar, Oh Honey Honey.

Make no mistake this a nightmare for Himself, but it is one of His own makings. I have known Sugar since the first day of third grade and the introduction period was brief. At the first opportunity, Sugar grabbed me by the hand and led me to the teacher's desk.

There she proclaimed that I was too tall to sit in front of her and she could not see the board. The problem was quickly resolved with me being moved behind her. In the third grade, she and I became friends from that moment forward.

We lost contact over the years after junior high. We were able to reconnect in 2000, but for her and me (Himself), it was as if time had never moved. We are to this day very comfortable with one another. To say she knows of the bodies would be very appropriate. The ones I used as I became Himself.

Honey and I were married in 83 and Himself was in full swing. Swinging at anything and everything, including the crazy ones. It cost me my Honey. Honey had only heard of Sugar and generally when the lights were low and the death of one was heading for sleep, but she knew of her.

In 2000 when Sugar and I reconnected I told her of Honey. She encouraged me to reclaim her and so the story goes. For the last 23 years, it has been a plan of Himself to have these two under the same roof. It took 12 years to get Honey to talk about it and do it. It has taken a crisis for Sugar.

You see these sister wives, both love me and Himself them. They both need the words that flow from me and my spin on their worlds. However one must pause as Loop said, “ Two worlds Colliding.” It could be the biggest trainwreck of my entire being.

Himself had always planned to bring them together, but the reality of such a thing is more of a wet dream than an actual event. My oaths and promises to the two of them mean more than that of the one to god or country.

It may be just temporary in the overall scheme of things, but honestly, for Himself, it is a prayer answered as the flip grows closer and closer. Once that happens, the plan has always been for the two to be on the same piece of property. Perhaps separate homes or living quarters, perhaps not.

To say that Himself has any clue what these two may do as they spend more and more time together would be a lie. They are in the control, even over Himself to a degree. Not that either alone could topple me, but together; The rain of Himself draws closer to an end. Perhaps it is time for such.

The candy girls….. Could end what has been a long run since between the two they know it all. They know the buttons. They know the triggers. Hell, they know the sights of the graves and who is within. Long Live Himself, by the grace of Sugar and Honey.

Damned if you do or Damned if you Do not!

I had just turned seven a few days before this event and I remember that it was Walter Cronkite saying “That's the way it is.”. However, at seven years old we have no clue as to how things are. I am not sure that fifty-five years later, I know more than I did then, but I still study things and make observations.

One thing is clear, it does not matter if it is in the 40s or 60s or the year 2020; Following Orders is not a defense. The senseless killing of non-combatants is to never be tolerated. It is a violation of the both military Law and civilian Law of Occupancy. But what does one get for killing between 347 to 570 Vietnamese? About a total of four months in the Stockade.

Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter saw to it. Lieutenant Calley only served a total of four months. Four months of what was supposed to be a Life Sentence. Yes, it was a troubling time in America. American Servicemen who had been awarded medals were sending them to their congress men as a protest of the sentencing of Lt. Calley.

Carter had the people driving around in Georgia with their headlights on in 1969 when this came to light after the failed cover up of the Incident. But really who are the hero's of this day? A WO Thompson and a Private Colburn. Those who tried to cover it pushed nearly every member of Charlie Company into death.

WO Thompson was shot down five times after standing firm at My Lai and confronting Lt. Calley. Others reportedly were placed in unwinnable situations where they may spend fifty or more days being pinned down by VC snipers simply because they were a part of Charlie Company. However, I see a different Hero in all of this. A man by the name of Ron Ridenhour. I would bet dime to doughnuts, that most of you never knew the name or that there is an award in journalism named for him.

You see Ron was one of the first truth tellers or whistleblowers or whatever else you want to call one of us who spread the truth. Onne of his quotes is this:

You see it took a year for the story to hit the news here in the states and it was unpopular. Our Government and worst yet our own Military was lying to us the Citizen. Make no mistake that it takes a good sized pair of balls to refuse an order, but it also takes up something that goes missing in combat; You see Morality is lost the moment one sets foot on foreign soil.

Not only does it go missing in combat, but the so called trips to places like Epstine’s Island. Truthfully there is little to no difference between the activities. One is either killing the body or the soul of a body. I know you think that I am weird and that is ok; but Ron Ridenhour knew that the truth must come out as well as I do. The truth is that Lt.Calley should still be in prison or a poppers grave. So should others, but there is one thing inside the deep state of military justice that prevents such. There is a statuit of limitation or was at the time during the Vietnam War.

While the brass was scrambling trying to cover things up about My Lia, thousands of enlisted men already had heard the story of it. Many first hand accounts of it were told over warm beer. Within months many thousands of men knew the story, but it took a man and a typewriter sending a letter to some select members of Congress as well as the president for the real world to know about it.

While I have reviewed many an article on the Vietnam war, this one touch something very close and near and dear in my heart. That is the Truth must always prevail. Like I said, “ Lt. Calley and others should still be in prison for the crimes committed at My Lia.”

One thing is for sure, Ron tells the story much better in his first hand account about what the Vietnam Solider called Pinkville and we know as My Lia Massacre. Ron’s story is 11 pages and entitled: Jesus Was A Gook . I know my writing style is nothing compared to Ron’s or that of Hunter S. Thompson, but I try hard to be a Gonzo reporter.
