State Department spokesperson Ned Price said Sunday that “an interagency delegation” met with senior Taliban representatives for “candid and professional” discussions following the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
“On October 9 and 10, an interagency delegation traveled to Doha, Qatar to meet with senior Taliban representatives,” Price noted in a Sunday readout of the call. “The U.S. delegation focused on security and terrorism concerns and safe passage for U.S. citizens, other foreign nationals and our Afghan partners, as well as on human rights, including the meaningful participation of women and girls in all aspects of Afghan society.”

Now for those of you wondering why Columbus Day always doubles as Italian-American Day its because although sailing for Spain Columbus was actually Italian making him the first official Italian-American!

"The environment has been pretty toxic and negative," one officer anonymously told Fox 13. "Not just from this whole mandate, but prior to that as well. I’m not sure this would be a good place for me to work long-term for my mental health. It has been very stressful."
