Trump talks about his plan to deal with global trade cheating that happens in many countries that trade with the US. Through central bank manipulation and foreign currency exchange manipulation, nations cheat Americans, negatively affecting our country and increasing the cost of living. Wealthy businesses and citizens can adjust much easier than those with less financial resources, causing ripple effects that hit hard-working Americans much harder. This is yet another proof of the fact that Trump's policies aim to make the economy better for everyone, not just billionaires—contrary to what the mainstream media continues to lie about.

Trump plans to use tariffs and lower taxes to draw in trillions upon trillions of dollars into the US, and invest those dollars back into the nation, which will improve the quality of life of all American citizens, most importantly the working class.

In Trump's own words: "To achieve this goal, we will phase in a system of universal, baseline tariffs on most foreign products. On top of this, higher tariffs will increase incrementally depending on how much individual foreign countries devalue their currency. They devalue their currency to take advantage of the United States, and they subsidize their industries or otherwise engage in trade cheating and abuse. And they do it now like never before, and we had it largely stopped and it was going to be stopped completely within less than a year."

President-elect Trump told The Post Saturday he supports immigration visas for highly skilled workers, appearing to side with Elon Musk in the roiling intra-MAGA debate on the issue.

“I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them,” Trump said by phone, referring to the H-1B program, which permits companies to hire foreign workers in specialty occupations.

“I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I’ve been a believer in H-1B. I have used it many times. It’s a great program,” added Trump, who restricted access to foreign worker visas in his first administration and has been critical of the program in the past.
