Imam Al-Nawawi said:

"Religion is nasihah: and part of that advice is to attribute a unique point to the one who first said it. Whoever does so will find blessing in their knowledge and their state. But whoever creates the false impression by taking the words of others, that those words are their own, is worthy of not benefiting from their knowledge and having no blessing in their state. People of knowledge and virtue have never ceased attributing benefits to those who uttered them. We ask Allah the Almighty for the constant success to do the same."

Amin Abdullah.

He stood his ground so others could make it home safely.

When gunmen opened fire outside the Islamic Center of San Diego, Amin protected the community until his final moments. Police say his actions prevented the attack from becoming far worse.

Support Aminโ€™s family with funeral costs, immediate household needs, education for his children, and long term financial stability.

May Allah accept him amongst the martyrs and grant patience to his loved ones. ๐Ÿคฒ

May have mercy on brother Amin and the Muslims killed in the mosque of San Diego.

Brother Amin was a real hero. He became a Muslim, lived his life to protect Muslims, and stopped the shooters of the mosque before they could do more damage. Just as Ustad Moustafa Elqabbany said it is something you read from the lives of the sahaba but happened in out in USA.

Imam Khalil, author of the famous Mukhtasar Khalil in Maliki fiqh said in al-Jami.

โ€œDo not joke with one beneath you, before he loses respect for you;

nor with one equal to you, before he grows resentful toward you;

and not with one higher status than you, before he becomes annoyed with you."

The Advice of the Scholar al-Murabit al-Hฤjj Written in his Own Hand

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

Reported from Abdullฤh b. Masโ€™ลซd that the Prophet ๏ทบ said:

This world (Dunya) is [only taken as] a home by those who will have no real home [in Jannah], and it is the wealth of those who will have no real wealth, and it is gathered and collected for by those who have no real intelligence.

And a poet said:

A person's true gain is his youth,
and loss lies in wasting it through negligence.

I counsel myself and I counsel you with the counsel of Allah to the first and the last:

โ€œIndeed, We have commanded those given the Scripture before you, as well as you, to be mindful of Allah.โ€ (Qur'an 4:131)

And the Prophet ๏ทบ said:

โ€œFrequently remember the destroyer of pleasures, death.โ€

There is no resting place after death except one of two abodes: either the abode of everlasting bliss or the Fire.

Beware of excessive companionship with most people of this age. For Abu Hamid al-Ghazali said in the fifth century:

โ€œBeware of the pseudo-scholars (charlatans) of your time, for they are wolves in clothing.โ€

What is required of a person is spending his life learning beneficial knowledge and striving against his own soul with acting upon what he has learned.

People today claim to be scholars, but the matter is not so. The true scholar is the one who fears Allah.

al-Hasan al-Basri said when someone told him, โ€œThe jurists (Fuqaha) do not say thatโ€:

โ€œHave you truly seen a jurist? The jurist is the one who fears Allah.โ€

May Allah make me and you among those who listen to his speech and follow the best of it. Amin. And may Allah send blessings upon Sayydina Muhammad ๏ทบ. O Allah, forgive, have mercy, and pardon what You know.
