Who paid for all these placards plus the hire van to take them to the demo? I'd really like to know - this lot cost a serious amount of money

This certainly is a bit strange. The cops aren't packing away confiscated placards, because the ones on the lorry are still wrapped up.

Or, if they seized the lorry to stop the demo, why have they pulled placards out of it? And why haven't the protest organisers screamed about this interference with their right to protest?

There again, if the State actually organised the (highly unpopular) demo, as the caption on this photo implies, why then sabotage it by seizing placards? Or be so stupid as to get uniformed cops handing them out?

Alexander Jacob and myself shall be addressing a small gathering in a Marylebone pub London on 20th May between 7-10pm
The subject of discussion shall be first an analysis of the poetical works of Arthur Edward Waite (1857-1943) and Arthur Machen (1863-1947) and their myriad references to the Holy Grail and Wotan presented by myself, followed by the finale which is Alexander Jacob's look at Âryan mythological origins.

 Admittance is £5 and shall include an assortment of nibbles to enjoy alongside the pub's wide array of available beverages.
