Mention of the Spanish Civil War on another platform, reminded me of this hero, Major Hugh Pollard. He arranged with Douglas Jerrold to pilot the plane flying Franco to Morocco, which began the Spanish Civil War. If I wore t-shirts any longer (only for the gym) I'd ensure this iconic image was on one of them.

This is a questionable aspiration. Australia has something like 20% non-Europeans, a higher cost of living and all the same trends we do.
