An asylum seeker has been jailed for 15 years for abducting and raping a 12-year-old in an attack which sparked protests and allegations of a police cover-up.
Afghan national Ahmad Mulakhil, 23, whose victim said he laughed while attacking her last summer, was found guilty last month of rape and two counts of sexual assault against his child victim in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
Jurors at Warwick Crown Court also convicted him of child abduction and taking an indecent video of the girl during her ordeal near a residential cul-de-sac.
He had admitted a further rape charge before his trial.
A 10-day trial earlier this year was told that Mulakhil arrived in the UK four months before the rapes and had made an immigration application linked to βproblemsβ he had experienced in Afghanistan.

See, the thing about subversives is they're very fond of playing games with language, and there's a fascinating language game being played here.
Bengali, Pakistani and Jamaican are all ethnic and national groupings, he takes care to separate them and mention them by name according to their corresponding ethnic and national categories.
Then, there's "White guys". This is neither ethnic nor national, it's frankly barely even racial, it's a colour. It could be Polish people, Latvians, Romanians, but no, you know who he means. He means English people.
In deliberately omitting the ethnic and national label for the people he is speaking of he sends a clear, rather important message. Bengalis, Pakistanis and Jamaicans are real, they are from their respective nations and hold claim to them even while living in England. YOU however, "White guy", do not. You are not real, your ethnic group is fake and you have no claim over this land in which you reside. You are not "English", because that would imply origin and claim over England, which he wants. No, you are just "White" just as somebody French would be "White" or somebody Polish would be "White". This applies to all of them too.
The reason this is important is also made clear in the language game people like this have been playing for a while, which is also played in this video, "Heh, back to where I'm from? You mean... SHEFFIELD???" It's a claim, the claim is that he holds equal right to claim origin in this land as you do. However, you will of course note that YOU could never hold claim to Bangladesh because YOU are not "Bengali", you're just a "White guy", someone with no homeland who must share his space, resources, time and effort with anybody who arrives here.
On top of this, he has the nerve to demand that those same "White guys", whose ethnicity he wont even utter in the same breath as his own, work WITH him to make it easier for him to sap up your space, resources, time and effort.
The same people who devote large swaths of time complaining about past colonialist expansions posit that, despite YOUR family being here for 1000 years and theirs for just 40, he has claim over your ancestral home and resources, because you're just a "White guy", not a Bengali, Pakistani or Jamaican like him.
This is textbook and frankly pathetic subversion, it demands that you don't notice that he denies your very existence while begging to stay in your land, stamping his feet that he's "From Sheffield, really guys!" Of course, at the same time, letting you know that HE'S Bengali, from Bangladesh and that YOU should apologise for the racism and colonialism his people underwent.
It's a very tiresome and constant wave of subversive, overly emotive slop that fundamentally reveals a deep malice to the English as a people.

Our latest documentary, The Bibi Files, is banned in Israel. Actually.
The reason is simple and draconian. This film exposes years of stories the Netanyahu government wants to keep hidden. Over-the-top corruption allegations, shady backroom deals, the prime ministerβs anti-U.S. geopolitical maneuvers, and so much more. The Bibi Files has it all.
Featuring insider testimony and leaked interrogation footage, this new documentary reveals a side of power that regular citizens were never meant to see. As America dives deeper into the Iran War, understanding who is pulling the strings matters more than ever.

Help Me End The Bar Council's Anti-White Scheme: My name is Sophie Corcoran. I am a writer, journalist, and a recent graduate from a Russell Group university. My work has appeared in publications including the Daily Mail, Daily Express, ConservativeHome, and GB News.
In my writing, I have previously raised concerns about anti-white bias in Britain and the growing willingness within institutions to tolerate forms of discrimination that would never be accepted in other contexts.
Application to the 10,000 intern scheme
I have long had an interest in the legal system and considered training as a barrister. One reason for this is a desire to contribute to society by helping ensure that justice is accessible to ordinary, decent people.
My own background has also shaped my views about opportunity and fairness. I attended a state secondary school that was placed in special measures, and I am dyslexic and have ADHD. These experiences presented challenges in my education, and I worked hard to overcome them in order to progress to university and beyond. For that reason, I find it particularly troubling when institutions suggest that opportunity and disadvantage can be judged solely on the basis of race.
As part of exploring a legal career, I applied to an internship programme run in conjunction with the Bar Council and an organisation called 10,000 Interns. The Bar Council represents barristers in England and Wales, and the programme offers six-week placements with chambers and legal organisations, paid at the London Living Wage of Β£14.80 per hour. It appeared to be a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience at the Bar.
However, when I researched the programme further, I was shocked to discover that the scheme is restricted to applicants of a particular racial background. In other words, eligibility for the internship depends on the colour of a personβs skin.
I found it difficult to believe that in modern Britain a professional opportunity connected to the legal profession could be limited in this way. The Bar Council represents the legal profession and the rule of law, and I believe it should uphold the principle that opportunities should not be allocated on the basis of race.
In October I submitted an application to the scheme. I received confirmation from 10,000 Interns that my application had been lodged and that I would hear from them in November regarding potential placements. They never got back to me. I believe it is because of my race.
Since then, my legal team have tried to engage in pre-action correspondence with both 10,000 interns and the Bar Council. I have now obtained ACAS Early Conciliation Certificates and intend to lodge my claims by the end of March.
I presume the Bar Council and 10,000 Interns will argue that they are allowed to offer this scheme under "positive discrimination". It will be up to the courts to decide whether it is lawful or not.
What I am trying to achieve
This case is not simply about my own experience. I am pursuing it because I believe that no person in Britain should be denied opportunities because of the colour of their skin.
If institutions are permitted to allocate opportunities on the basis of race, it risks normalising a system in which individuals are judged not by their character, merit, or ability, but by their ethnicity.
I believe strongly that equality before the law must apply to everyone. Through this case, I hope to challenge practices that discriminate on racial grounds and to reinforce the principle that fairness and equal treatment should apply to all.
Ultimately, I am bringing this case not just for myself, but for the many young people who may currently be excluded from opportunities because of their race. My hope is that this challenge can help ensure that Britain remains a society where opportunity is based on merit, effort, and ability, not the colour of someoneβs skin.
Next Step
The next step in this case is to issue my claims in the employment tribunal for discrimination against 10,000 interns and the Bar Council.
