Schools Bill - Home Education mandatory register. The ability to home educate as you wish is being removed, slowly but surely. This bill is in the Lords and due in the Commons in a couple of months. Myself and a few friends who all home-grow fruit and vegetables in our gardens or allotments seed-save and when we can we share seeds. Personally I try to always grow heritage (heirloom) seeds so that I can seed-save for next year. Avoid F1 labeled seeds if you can as seeds saved from F1 fruit will germinate but rarely fruit. The UK company Real Seeds has a lot of information on seed saving.
