The consultation closes at 11:59pm on the 12th February 2026.
On the 20th November 2025, the Government launched the earned settlement consultation on increasing the qualifying period in order to obtain Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) from the current 5 years to 10 years.
If you want to block as much of the Boriswave from settling in the UK, it would be strongly advisable to complete this consultation, which is linked below.
It's all web-based, consists of multiple questions with a few write-in options and will probably take you around 15-20 minutes to complete. The consultation is also completely anonymous, you don't need to provide your name, email address or postcode.

Do not underestimate the importance of demographics to your core vote. They have fled London already, some are starting to flee Essex. Roberto Grijalva, an officer at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York has been identified as the anonymous prison employee who posted on 4Chan claiming Epstein left his cell Friday evening shackled in a medical wheelchair while at the same time an unauthorized trip van arrived at the prison, which he believes took Epstein away the night BEFORE news broke of his death.
