Wesley Perrins was an MP for Birmingham Yardley between 1945-1950 and later a prominent Black Country Historian. Thanks to his grandson I am able to share with you today for the first time a recorded talk of Mr Perrins on Black Country History and Humour.
This may have aired once via radio in the late 60s and has not reappeared since. This came from Mr Bulmans personal collection of his grandfather with his kind permission.
Inside is a glimpse back into the attitudes and humour of the past the kind of which is not being actively shared by our education system.
