There were weeks of media confected outrage. Statements by politicians in the Commons. Threats by police to severely prosecute. So we looked at this charge to see, just how offensive statements of this type had been. Is this the type of thing for which old men should receive a criminal record, possibly even imprisonment?

46,000! The age of criminal responsibility in the UK is ten. This may be too low. But there is a state encouraged process, seen above and elsewhere, to absolve teens who engage in drug dealing and other associated criminality as being "groomed" as if this takes away their agency and legal responsibility. The reason for this, we suspect, is that many of those teens have 'protected characteristics' and this is reflected in criminal stats. It takes the British sympathy at vulnerable young females victims, acknowledged by the white British public and seeks to overlay this empathy on (often) minority children to absolve or exculpate them of their criminal behaviour.

NB a similar process is occurring with many illegal immigrant adults, who increasingly are being said to be 'trafficked' for criminal activities and therefore should not be prosecuted for those activities OR deported as they would be targeted.

A 1yr MA (often via loans) entitles 3rd World economic migrants to apply for Skilled/Health visas allowing them to bring their partners/dependents. After 5-6 years they can claim citizenship. They can thereafter apply to bring dependent parents or even siblings to the UK who also become citizens after 6 years. In mixed families, this means even more parents, grandparents and children are entitled to apply to come. It's not clear how plural marriages might work here, but I think we can guess.

This looks like a Trojan Horse move. Refugee activists have long been demanding "safe routes". Opening application centres in Europe for asylum in Britain sets a dangerous precedent. When (if) it closes, expect cries of 'racism', 'discriminatory treatment' and 'putting peoples' lives in danger' forcing people into Channel crossings. What happens if the centre is mobbed by Third World applicants from Calais?
