Yes, Britain may have won those wars, but through the longer-term historical lens what did it avail us, or any European nation, when you look around at the steady fall of the West?

The Royal Navy to collect them, the army to house them and now proposing keeping the numbers arriving hidden. Our political system needs serious change from these Tweedle-Dum, Tweedle-Dee parties.

Another day... 😆 They didn't like the fact the page recently reached 3 million in a week (couple of viral videos), so will have to play nice for a few months. Facebook, a necessary evil.
These flights outlined by the "UK Defence Journal" indicate* that the UK is playing a very dangerous game which we have no business being involved in, on behalf of Donbass.

A fantastic precedent awaiting someone who will use it properly. Used only on those already abroad, we wonder? A good potential tool for electoral disenfranchisement, too.
Fair, though it ignores what's pushing the boats (Refugee Law, political institutions, criminals and ideologues opposing homogeneity)
DM'd to us as a children's handout today from the very right-on Museum of London.
When inequality of conditions is the common law of society, the most marked inequalities do not strike the eye; when everything is nearly on the same level, the slightest are marked enough to hurt it. Hence the desire of equality always becomes more insatiable in proportion as equality is more complete.

If you like old British comedies, I’d highly suggest getting physical copies before they’re purged totally.

They will come for everything.

Everything.
Erm, you don't fail forever. War is getting up and trying again?
The Solicitor General and anti-terror police head admit they are engaged in Rowleyism, treating misguided children who possess forbidden literature yet have no terror plans, the same as they do hardened Islamic terrorists. It's state propaganda aimed at the public, the same type of tactic as was used with the recent publication of grooming stats rehashing discredited earlier reports by Berelowitz, the then Children's Commissioner.

The Leopard was a pub and hotel in the centre of Burslem. Grade II listed it had stood on that spot since 1765, and was frequented by the likes of Josiah Wedgwood and Erasmus Darwin, allegedly the site where they first decided to cut the Trent and Mersey Canal. It also appeared in a number of novels by author Arnold Bennett under the pseudonym 'The Tiger'.

An important site of local Heritage locals were dismayed at the neglect it had suffered in recent years. It was recently purchased by "Daneets Developments" in the hope of turning it into apartments.

Last week a cannabis factory was discovered inside, and on Saturday 22nd just gone at 1.30pm a fire broke out inside. Multiple seats of fire were confirmed and four men have been arrested (no description). The building has been absolutely gutted as can be seen from the aerial photographs and will likely now need to be demolished entirely.

Another chapter of English history up in flames, seemingly for the same reasons we've become used to.
