How long until some toe curling post-closet interviews?

People like Simon 'Lord' Wolfson of Next are beneath contempt, trying to override immigration controls for what appears to be narrow economic interests.

Still also significant underemployment plus many unhappily retired who would welcome low stress part-time employment in such industries.
Behold the modern 'Conservative' Party. Whose level of conservatism is less than you'd get in a homeopathic remedy.
No need to thank us, after your next meeting

Scotland's genetic landscape is remarkably similar to Dark Age populations, according to Scots researchers. The findings mean people still live in the same areas as their direct ancestors. Experts at Edinburgh University found six clusters of genetically-similar people dotted around the country. This is because people married and stayed locally, preserving their genetic identity. The experts said the DNA of Scottish people still reflected the country's ancient kingdoms, proving that people had not really moved around much. The findings show about six clusters of genetically-similar people in the Borders (angles), Strathclyde (britons), the Northeast (picts), the Hebrides (norse-gael), Orkney and Shetland (norse)

Is he wrong? Our government rolls out the red carpet, caters to their demands and never even removes those who fail.
This is very true, you can take it down to the level of the individual, family, village, region. But from the other end of the telescope, the British are also remarkably similar (see comments on Bodmer post).
Sir Walter Bodmer summarises the findings of the People of the British Isles study which showed how well defined various Indigenous Peoples of the Isles are genetically
