I find this guy really irritating. He has over 50,000 subscribers. If half of them are paid, that equals £1,900,000 pa. Every one of his Substacks that I've seen are written like an American snake oil salesman from the 1970s, with the heavily referenced hook after the paywall: "And before I go into the detail I need to warn you this is horrific and outrageous in equal measure.....£" All written at a low intellectual level and chasing the latest topical ephemera.

An admin: My family originally came from the East End of London. I can tell you that there was pretty much no racially mixed (black/white) couples during the 1940's and for much later. Even in the 1960's it was frowned on . And if it was suspected by looking at children from various liaisons the disparaging comment would be uttered " I wonder if they have a touch of the tar brush" That is how it was.
