Gold is still trading between 4000 and 4040-50, making intraday trading difficult.
Since 4000 has been tested multiple times, don't be surprised if the market first sweeps liquidity below it. Watch the 3988-82 area for buying interest after confirmation. A deeper dip below 3980 is also possible before reversal.
On the upside, 4040-50 remains the first selling zone, while 4070-80 is still the stronger resistance if price extends higher. Let price come to you. No need to chase moves inside the range.
