What Christmas is all about.
New neighbors moved in across the street from our house, so I baked Christmas cookies and we brought them over to them on Christmas Day. They were very warmed by this novel concept that very few people do nowadays and said that things like this are part of the reason they wanted to be in the South. After a few minutes of talking, the husband said that they are "political refugees", he is a former Marine, they are anti-CRT, pro 2A and their family is going to start homesteading soon. They may not be woke on everything, but it's a good start and criteria for neighbors.
Never underestimate the power of giving kindness and how God uses these acts as blessings to bring people together. At the end of the day, be a good person and trust that you will find your people.

In times like these, many people have forgotten what's important. They chase material comforts and pleasures, opting to go away on vacations by themselves for the holidays instead of being with their family. If not for the holidays, then as a regular part of their days, they have lost touch with the importance of family.
The generations are meant to grow up together and have each other as their time on earth draws near. When I look at the adoration on the face of a nearly 80 year old great grandmother, it is the same as the look on the face of the 1 year old childs. Love and bonds felt among the young and old are a simple reminder that family belongs together! 💗
