Just got these mature blueberry bushes from a guy who was getting rid of them. They're 4 ft tall and already have a ton of berries! Hope the transplant takes well! 😍

Yesterday this back yard was filled with nearly 40 people from our community for a potluck gathering (with only a week notice)! Everyone brought something for the party. There were different activity centers in the yard for the kids to play at; the older kids played ultimate frisbee; the younger kids played with remote controlled trucks, Duck Duck Goose, bubbles, ate ice cream and just chased each other around the yard like kids do. It was a sweet experience to see all of the fun they had and to socialize with the adults. The priest even came for a bit to hang out and bless the food. Got a new outdoor cat to fend off rodents. It amazes me how much young children naturally love animals! They have been going outside with her for hours each day to feed, play with and love on. Give your children an animal to care for. It gives them responsibility and the opportunity to love another being! 💗
