Beets are sprouting 😍

This verse has spoken to me so much over the years. Children are a blessing and raising them is a sacrifice unto the Lord; a woman's cross to bear. It is deeply fulfilling and equally exhausting work. A woman learns how strong she is during childbirth and how weak she is during the daily mundane. I have experienced these ebbs and flows; the beauty and disappointment, learning what truly matters and relinquishing Earthly desires.

Becoming a good mother is a painful and beautiful journey. I have fought my own inner demons and those of the Evil One time and time again. What I have learned is that only when you are completely broken down and worn out will you surrender to, and accept, God's will. Only then can you embrace your life, your duty and your purpose with grace. In that moment of surrender you find peace. I am certain that the more you struggle in doing God's will, the more glory you give to Him. The more that you aim to do what's right, things will fall into place in your life. Embrace the struggle 💗

I unpacked our groceries and gave my son the leftover boxes. He said he wanted to make a box car/truck, so he's been working on this for the past hour. It's coming along nicely! Indulge their creativity 😎

Half of these potatoes were planted from cut up purple potatoes a few weeks ago. They are definitely growing! 😍

Anyone know what kind of mushroom this is growing next to my kale? Pretty cool! I think we have some pretty amazing soil for this to be happening! 😎
