Ukrainian forces probe front lines for Russian weak spots
The Washington Post
...
The expected spring offensive has been framed as Ukraine’s make-or-break opportunity this year to recapture territory held by Russian forces, which totals about one-fifth of the country. But the operation has been delayed by weather, slow equipment deliveries and ammunition scarcities, fueling fears of a stalemate.
Further complicating the planned counterattack is the leak of dozens of U.S. military and intelligence documents, including many details about the condition of Ukraine’s military and its capabilities, including weaknesses in air defenses, that could force commanders to alter plans.
...
#TransFormatorBuzzes : 💤
Well, now it becomes clear, what was the purpose of all that story with "leaked" documents. Popular Washington Post now is explicitly explaining it to all those, who have no clue about Telegram. As we have suspected, it looks like a disinformation campaign. It is impossible to hide the objectives and targets of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, but it is still possible to misguide about the time. Make Russians believe, that it will start later, so it will become unexpected... Good plan. However, Russian generals do not read Washington Post (I hope).

Ukraine isn’t happy with U.S. view of counteroffensive
Politico
If you thought Ukraine would be unhappy that the U.S. privately believes its counteroffensive won’t be a big success, then congratulations — you’re right.
Senior Ukrainian officials are upset by a leaked “top secret” assessment from February suggesting Ukraine would make only “modest territorial gains” from its planned operation. The Washington Post, which reported the document on Monday, said it was part of the growing leak of classified U.S. intelligence on the war in Ukraine, China, Israel and other global hotspots.
Kyiv says the document shows the U.S. is once again underestimating its military’s capabilities.
“The same people who said Kyiv would fall in three days are now leaking harmful and equally ridiculous information ahead of an offensive critically important for the entire free world,” said a person in regular contact with senior officials in Kyiv.
“There are some people who continue to be hesitant” about Ukraine’s military chances in the counteroffensive, a Ukrainian defense official said, “but we’ve proved everybody wrong.” The projections of Ukraine’s chances are “not the truth,” this official continued. “It gives us grounds for suspicion” of just how seriously the U.S. backs Ukraine’s objectives of fully pushing Russia out of the country.
That sentiment is widespread within the Ukrainian government, per another person with similar high-level contacts in Kyiv. All three people were granted anonymity to detail sensitive internal deliberations in Ukraine.
The comments make clear that the United States and Ukraine aren’t as in sync as both countries claim 14 months into the war. It could also portend less trust between Washington and Kyiv ahead of a crucial few months of fighting that could dictate the course of the war with Russia. With Russia in control of 20 percent of Ukrainian territory, the hope is that the counteroffensive, even with dwindling supplies, will force Moscow’s troops and mercenaries out of the country they invaded.
#TransFormatorBuzzes : 💤
More informational noise to cover the facts. And the facts are that Kiev is ready to attack and will attack very soon, no matter what... Otherwise the Kiev regime will fall. Be vigilant and be prepared. There are enough of sad mistakes.

Not a fan of Elon #Musk but I'm even less of a fan of #smug #dishonest #woke #BBC "#Journalists" smearing their targets with dishonest innuendo and "guilt by association" tactics.
It's fun to watch the BBC #liar squirm as #Musk catches him out in his lies and puts him on the spot repeatedly.
His discomfort at having the tables completely turned on him, as he makes weak attempts to proffer even weaker excuses, in a vain attempt to weasel out from the trap he set for himself, is a lot of fun to watch.
He thought he was the hunter but now he's the prey
All he had to do to avoid it was simply not lie in the first place 🤷♂
But he's a BBC "Journalist"......... "not lying" is simply not in their nature 😂

No Russia-Ukraine peace talks expected this year, U.S. leak shows
The war is expected to spill into 2024 with neither side notching victory and both refusing to negotiate, U.S. intelligence officials surmise
The Washington Post
The grinding war between Ukraine and Russia is expected to bleed into 2024 with neither side securing victory yet both refusing to negotiate an end to the conflict, according to a Defense Intelligence Agency assessment that is among the highly sensitive U.S. government materials leaked online and obtained by The Washington Post.
The analysis concludes that, even if Ukraine recaptures “significant” amounts of territory and inflicts “unsustainable losses on Russian forces,” an outcome U.S. intelligence finds unlikely, the nation’s gains would not lead to peace talks.
“Negotiations to end the conflict are unlikely during 2023 in all considered scenarios,” says the document, which has not been disclosed previously.

Leaker of U.S. secret documents worked on military base, friend says
The Washington Post
The man behind a massive leak of U.S. government secrets that has exposed spying on allies, revealed the grim prospects for Ukraine’s war with Russia and ignited diplomatic fires for the White House is a young, charismatic gun enthusiast who shared highly classified documents with a group of far-flung acquaintances searching for companionship amid the isolation of the pandemic.
United by their mutual love of guns, military gear and God, the group of roughly two dozen — mostly men and boys — formed an invitation-only clubhouse in 2020 on Discord, an online platform popular with gamers. But they paid little attention last year when the man some call “OG” posted a message laden with strange acronyms and jargon. The words were unfamiliar, and few people read the long note, one of the members explained. But he revered OG, the elder leader of their tiny tribe, who claimed to know secrets that the government withheld from ordinary people.
The young member read OG’s message closely, and the hundreds more that he said followed on a regular basis for months. They were, he recalled, what appeared to be near-verbatim transcripts of classified intelligence documents that OG indicated he had brought home from his job on a “military base,” which the member declined to identify. OG claimed he spent at least some of his day inside a secure facility that prohibited cellphones and other electronic devices, which could be used to document the secret information housed on government computer networks or spooling out from printers. He annotated some of the hand-typed documents, the member said, translating arcane intel-speak for the uninitiated, such as explaining that “NOFORN” meant the information in the document was so sensitive it must not be shared with foreign nationals.

The Russian Armed Forces hit the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction with thermite shells
DONETSK, April 13 — RIA Novosti. The Russian armed forces hit the firing position of the Ukrainian military in the Donetsk direction with the help of thermite shells, the video came into the possession of RIA Novosti.
The combat incendiary mixture ignites when burst and reaches a combustion temperature of 2300-2700 degrees. This is the most common type of incendiary weapon, which allows you to hit the enemy both in open areas and in cover. The main damaging factor of incendiary weapons is thermal energy. Such projectiles cause a fire that cannot be extinguished.
This weapon is paired with the Grad multiple launch rocket system.
According to the Ministry of Defense, over the past day, Russian troops defeated Ukrainian formations in the Donetsk, Kupyansk, Krasnolimansk, South-Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson directions.

Arestovich bursts with an analysis of the situation with the Ukrainian counteroffensive:
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are 90% ready for a counteroffensive. They are so bleedingly annoying with their whining, this Western press. Especially the Washington Post, whining and whining, everything is always wrong for them, everything is bad for them, crookedly askew. The main obstacle to the counter-offensive is not some kind of "leaks", but the endless rains falling in Ukraine. For the tank to leave, it needs 30 centimetres of soil that has dried through to the state of concrete. This is at least two to three weeks of sunny weather. It's a long story, and only the weather holds,” he said.

❗️Iran launched a parade of 2,700 ships in the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea in support of the Palestinian people. All vessels, escorted by the largest warships, will then head for the Strait of Hormuz, which will lead to its blockage.
Now up to 20% of all world oil goes through the strait. Iran threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz for EU ships in January of this year, in December it was proposed to block it for all countries that supported the protests in the Islamic Republic.

Maduro sent to hell the representative of the US State Department after the threat to tighten sanctions
MEXICO CITY, April 14 — RIA Novosti. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has invited a US State Department official to go to hell in response to US government threats published in the media to increase sanctions against his country. The head of state stated this on the air of Venezolana de Televisión.
Earlier, Europa Press, citing a State Department spokesman, said that the United States reserves the right to tighten restrictive measures if the process of dialogue with the opposition does not move forward, and repression intensifies. The material appeared after Juan Guaido's statement about his possible arrest.
"The Gringo Representative has issued threats to Venezuela that if Venezuela does not move forward in political dialogue with the gangster, corrupt and home-trading sector of the Unitary Platform, they will retaliate and impose sanctions against our country. I suggest this Gringo representative to go to hell, because Venezuela is respected", Maduro stressed.
According to him, the Bolivarian government does not accept threats from Washington. Maduro pointed out that Venezuela, through its own efforts, overcame the sanctions barriers.
The opposition at the end of 2022 voted for the liquidation of the "interim government" of Juan Guaido, and he himself left the post of speaker of the opposition parliament. Leaders of movements that disagreed with Maduro said that the dissolution of the interim government was overdue as the structure weakened and ceased to function.
