SOCHI, March 23 — RIA Novosti. Russia will seek the truth in the situation with the investigation of the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"We will seek the truth," Lavrov said during a press conference following talks with the Burundi Foreign Minister.
He also expressed hope that the UN will realize its responsibility for the fight against terrorism, "which has destroyed a critical infrastructure on which the energy security of the EU depended to a decisive extent."
"Therefore, we submitted a draft resolution to the UN Security Council asking the UN Secretary General to organize an impartial, objective, transparent investigation with the broad participation of international experts. We are supported by China," the Russian minister said.

At the same time, Lavrov added that the United States reacted "very nervously", and their behaviour resembles "panic fear", Washington began to cobble together with its allies a group of countries that they expect will vote against Russia's resolution.

“I do not rule out that they will even manage to get enough votes to block this initiative. Then they will sign that they have something to hide, then the objectivity of the data presented by Seymour Hersh will be confirmed,” he added.
