The purpose of this drone is to conduct reconnaissance in order to facilitate the targeting of Ukrainian weapons. The US is now actively involved in this war, and the idea that this is somehow a reason in the US to condemn Russia is absurd. The United States spends billions of dollars on the supply of weapons in order to weaken the Russian army. <...> This is not routine surveillance, they inspect the battlefield and look for possible targets.

France's Macron to force through pension reform with no vote - BBC News

The French government has been forced to push through unpopular pension reforms, to avoid a knife-edge vote in the National Assembly.

Although the plan to raise the pension age from 62 to 64 passed the upper house on Thursday, ministers realised they might not win the support of MPs.

Prime Minister Γ‰lisabeth Borne was jeered as she invoked article 49:3 of the constitution.

That power enables the government to avoid a vote in the Assembly.

"We cannot bet on the future of our pensions and this reform is necessary," the prime minister told a rowdy session of the lower house.

As she took the stand, left-wing MPs sang the national anthem La Marseillaise while holding placards that read "No to 64".

The session was briefly suspended and when she began to speak she was interrupted with cries of "Resign, Resign!" Read more πŸ‘ˆ

The President of Indonesia spoke in favor of abandoning the use of Visa and Mastercard payment systems.

To reduce geopolitical financial risks. Since these systems are used by the United States as a weapon against objectionable countries. Joko Widodo urged local administrations to get rid of Visa and Mastercard services and switch to national payment technologies.

β€œWe will be very careful. We must not forget about the sanctions that the United States imposed on Russia. Visa and Mastercard could be a problem."

TUCKER CARLSON: You're going to get a hot war with Russia and China, whether you want it or not
Zelenskyy wants to send Americans to war,
Tucker says

Well, it looks like you're going to get a hot war with Russia and China, whether you want one or not. Yesterday morning, an American reaper drone went down over the Black Sea. We still do not know exactly what happened. We're not going to lie to you. We don't know, and we don't expect to find out anytime soon, if ever.

The Biden administration says it knows. It says the unmanned drone was harassed and damaged by two Russian fighter jets over international waters. So, that's all we have; we are going to have to take their word for it. Everybody else seems to be.

Lindsey Graham didn't ask many penetrating questions. No, he moved immediately, seized the opportunity to demand that the Pentagon attack the Russian air force. Here he is.

SEN. LINDSEY GRAHAM: Well, we should hold them accountable and say that if you ever get near another U.S. asset flying in international waters, your airplane would be shot down. What would Ronald Reagan do right now? He would start shooting Russian planes down if they were threatening our assets.
