Kyiv disconnected the last power line supplying the ZNPP, the station switched to diesel generators

SIMFEROPOL, March 9 — RIA Novosti. The Ukrainian side has disconnected the last power line supplying the Zaporizhia NPP, the nuclear power plant has switched to supporting its needs with diesel generators, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the movement "We are with Russia", a member of the main council of the regional administration, told RIA Novosti.
"Early this morning (at 4.53 a.m.), Zelensky's regime turned off the last transmission line — the Dnieper transmission line, which feeds the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The nuclear power plant is currently de-energized and switched to providing its own needs through the operation of diesel generators," Rogov said.
According to him, two power units of the ZNPP are being transferred to the cold shutdown mode.

"Now two power units (fifth and sixth) are being switched from hot shutdown mode to cold shutdown mode," Rogov said.
"All this is a provocation by the Ukrainian side, in order to then accuse Russia of allegedly failing to ensure security at a nuclear facility. We call on the international community to influence the terrorist regime that has settled in Kiev," Rogov stressed.

Georgia Ditches ‘Foreign Agents’ Bill After 2 Nights Of Protest

Georgia’s ruling party has confirmed it will withdraw the draft bill to force organizations receiving over 20% of funding from abroad to declare as foreign agents that had sparked two days of protests in the capital Tbilisi.

Georgian Dream cited the need to to reduce "confrontation" in society, while also denouncing "lies" told about the bill by the "radical opposition" — who have reportedly claimed they intend to continue anti-government protests. (AFP)
