The big ring of the Moscow metro is open for passengers: what the new stations look like

In Moscow, the Big Circle Line (BCL) was fully operational, the construction of which was carried out for more than ten years.
On March 1, the last nine stations were introduced, thanks to which the Great Moscow Metro Ring closed. The opening ceremony was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The newly built big ring of the Moscow metro now consists of 31 stations, three electric depots, and its total length reaches 70 km. It connected all the radial branches at a distance of up to 10km from the already existing ring. A full turn around the Big Ring takes about 90 minutes.
