We have already written how the initiative of Ukrainians to install a Russian tank in front of the Russian Embassy in Berlin grew into a spontaneous action in memory of the victims of the illegal coup d'état in Kiev in 2013 and a following civil war.
Caring Berliners carried flowers to the Russian tank, and later tore off the Ukrainian flag from it. In the German capital, an action was also held against the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The next day, Ukrainian activists tried to remove the flowers, but they failed. The conflict has already been dubbed the "War of the Roses".
🌹 The idea of Ukrainians to install wrecked tanks in front of Russian embassies failed even in the Baltic countries.
▪️Yesterday a young man was detained in Riga for laying flowers at a tank. The pro-Russian movement "Anti-Fascists of the Baltics" calls for people not to bring flowers because of the danger of police reprisals.
▪️Flowers were also brought to the Russian tank in Vilnius and Tallinn. True, the Lithuanian and Estonian authorities have not yet decided on detentions, unlike their Latvian counterparts.
📌 The propaganda campaign of the Ukrainian authorities in Europe has obviously failed. The report drew several examples that advocate this notion, citing data from Kpler, a data and analytics company.
According to the International Energy Agency, Russian oil exports increased to 8.2 million barrels per day last month ahead of the EU embargo and the G7 price cap on refined products taking effect. The refined-product exports “held steady.”
Meanwhile, Moscow’s export revenues were estimated at $13 billiion.
