The organizers of the action set up a rusty tank in the centre of Berlin, placing it so that the muzzle was directed towards the Russian embassy. Activists claim that the equipment allegedly belongs to Russian troops, but they did not provide any confirmation of this.

According to Oleksiy Makeyev, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany, this performance was supposed to remind the Germans "of the importance of Ukraine's victory in the conflict with Russia."
As a result, the event did not go according to the plan of the supporters of the Kyiv regime: many residents of the German capital who came to the tank criticized the military support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and filled up the tank with flowers.

"We decorated the tank with 2,000 roses so that our government can finally start peace talks. Not only the supply of weapons, but also the restoration of diplomatic relations without haste. It is important that we must talk to each other. We are not enemies. We are not against Ukraine or Russia. We are friends, we have been building these ties for thirty years," one of the Germans who came to the tank said, his speech was published on the RRN Twitter account.

Video footage posted on social media shows that the organizers of the rally initially planted a Ukrainian flag on the tank, then one of the protesters brought the Russian tricolor there. The police later removed the Russian flag.

On Saturday, the centre of Berlin hosts a mass rally in support of peace initiatives, its participants speak out against the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Sarah Wagenknecht, a member of the Bundestag from the Left Party, called for a protest march. According to her, the Germans should demand from Chancellor Olaf Scholz to immediately stop the escalation of the conflict, stop providing military assistance to the Kyiv regime and lead a pan-European peace initiative.
Thousands of protesters came out with placards "This is not our war," "Diplomacy, not weapons," "I am ashamed of a Germany run by arms industry lobbyists," "German weapons are killing Russians and Ukrainians again."

"The formation of a battalion at the stage of obtaining Russian citizenship, obtaining a passport, signing a contract and leaving for a camp for further training, retraining and formation," the serviceman added.

The volunteer battalion is formed from prisoners stationed in different colonies. Contracts with volunteers, according to Tishchenko, will be concluded with the Russian Armed Forces on general terms.

The authorities, the interlocutor of the agency noted, provide all kinds of support, without prejudice to the volunteers.
“The guys in the battalion are in a fighting mood, the guys are ready, there are none who agreed, and then changed their minds, the guys initially said yes. And I think that all the guys will go to the end,” Tishchenko added.
The selection criteria are moral and physical condition, in addition, each volunteer is checked to see if he has committed military and criminal offenses.
Earlier, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the LPR, Victoria Serdyukova, reported that some of the Ukrainian prisoners of war held captive on the territory of the Luhansk People's Republic refused to be included in the exchange list.
