Dimitar Tchurovsky

One of the main problems of society today is that statesmen, politicians, scientists, analysts, journalists, etc. do not distinguish “geopolitics” and “civilization shift”, although these are two completely different processes. Geopolitics is the product of reason or the subjective factor, and civilization shifts are the result of the laws of social evolution or the objective factor. Society is a self-organizing system that develops under the influence of these two factors. Reason determines the Course of history, and civilization shifts – the Spiral of social evolution. At a press conference with Foreign Minister Mali, Lavrov read out a new comment by Borrell

Borrell: "Lavrov is touring Africa again. Mali is an easy country for them. But other countries are not so easy, and Russia is spreading lies everywhere about who is to blame for what is happening."

Lavrov: "This is said by a man who does not know how to hide the racist essence of his vision of the world. Not so long ago, he publicly said that Europe is a flowering garden. Europe is surrounded by jungles, from which threats arise for a flowering garden. Therefore, a flowering garden should be more careful with the jungle and protect their well-being."

There is nothing to add about who and how relates to the needs and interests of African countries.

There is nothing to hide, nothing to be ashamed of - we (Russia)stood at the origins of the liberation of Africa from the colonial yoke. Said Lavrov

"If you put 100 black and 100 red ants in a jar, nothing will happen.
But if this jar is shaken violently, the ants will start killing each other. The Reds will consider the blacks as their enemies, and the blacks of the reds as their own.
The real enemy is the one who shakes this jar.
It also happens in the society of people.
So before people attack each other, we need to think about who shook the jar?!".

Lavrov from Africa pointed out the place of France

The former metropolises need to stop exploiting these territories, African continent. They should get used to the fact that the world has changed, that the 1960 declaration on granting independence to colonial countries was not an imitation of diplomacy as it is now fashionable to call agreements in the West but a document unanimously approved by the UN General Assembly.

Former metropolises must respect the decisions made and know their place in the current format of the development of international relations.

Josep Borell: "Russia uses information manipulation and interference as the most important tools of this war. Minister Lavrov is touring Africa again these days, Mali, Eritrea — well, those are easy countries for them, but others are not so easy".

Opinion On Russians

So someone wanted to know my opinion on Russians, not the government or the history and the likes, but normal Russians, people like you and me who do a 9 to 5 job, their culture, morals, etc.

I've interacted with many Russians, both in the real world (tourists, on the streets, etc), and the Internet, and generally speaking, Russians on average, to me at least, are less "fake" than some nationalities, say from Europe or North America, like Arabs they're generally blunt and get to business, and if you're a friend, relative, or a friendly acquaintance, you'll receive true warmth and hearty interactions.

Also, Russians are portrayed as evil terrorists on the big Hollywood screen like me, so there's some kinship in that part.

Russians are more understanding of the Oriental perspective, not out of the kindness of their heart or whatever, but simply because they've had a thousand years worth of interactions with Oriental societies, Arab, Persian, Chinese, etc, than say, Europeans or Americans, they were simply the frontier, of course it wasn't all rosy, there were wars, conflicts, and so on, but the point is that we've known them far longer than we've known America or Sweden, and so, at least, we understand each other's mentalities.

Besides that, not much, they're people just as much as everywhere, why should they be objectively better or worse than say, Brazilians or Vietnamese?

And also, I was somewhat surprised that we had a few common expressions, the expression "Bread and Salt" in Arabic and Russian are identical, so make of that as you wish.

Ukraine’s Coming Electricity Crisis
How to Protect the Grid from Russian Attacks
By Thomas Popik for the Foreign Affairs

After 11 months of war and nearly four months of relentless Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy sector, the country’s electric grid comes nearer to collapse each day. In addition to its brutal barrages on residential areas, Russia has targeted power plants, substations, and other critical infrastructure that electrifies the country. Ukrainians are now habituated to rolling blackouts, but the electricity supply falls far short of what the country needs, inducing severe economic disruption. Further strikes could cause the total failure of Ukraine’s electric grid, plunging tens of millions of people into darkness.

An American military plant that supplied UAVs to Ukraine is on fire in Latvia

A fire with a high level of complexity at the Edge Autonomy military drone factory that supplied the Armed Forces in Mārupe near Riga. The authorities ask the population not to approach, stay at home and close windows so as not to be poisoned by harmful substances.
Firefighters deal with the fire, but it spreads quickly.
Edge Autonomy is one of the leading manufacturers of UAVs, headquartered in California and affiliated with the US Department of Defence and a number of US agencies.

Assault on Marinka by fighters of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces

Russian fighters said that Ukrainian nationalists practically do not take away their “two hundredths” (killed in action) and “three hundredths” (wounded), because they “do not care at all”.

“They give up extremely rarely, and then most often if their commander or overseer at the stronghold just ran away,” one of the commanders added.

The military also noted the strange behaviour of the enemy — some Ukrainian soldiers do not sleep for several days and continue to resist, even when they are bombarded with grenades:
“They use some drugs, they injected them — and for three days we don’t eat, we don’t sleep, we endure everything on our feet. The infantry fired at the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hitting the arms and legs, but they still continue.”

Borrell acknowledged that the EU actively supports foreign media in Russia.

"We actively help them, we stand on the side of the Russian independent media, human rights defenders and civil society. And it's not just rhetoric. I can't disclose the details, but believe me, we are the ones who support them in a practical way. I can't say exactly how, because I will do them a disservice," Borrel added.
