RUSSIA WARNS GREECE NOT TO SEND S-300 MISSILES TO UKRAINE

#Russia on Monday warned Greece that a potential delivery of Greece’s Russian-made #S300 #missile defense system to Ukraine would be considered “a very provocative move.”

The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria #Zakharova said that the Russian armed forces will locate and destroy all military supplies sent to #Ukraine.

“We consider plans to supply the Kyiv regime with S-300s or other Russian/Soviet air defense systems that will be used against Russia very provocative.

“The Greek authorities recently underlined their readiness to supply Ukraine with the S-300 PMU1 missile defense system, on condition of receiving #US #Patriot #missile defense systems to replace them.”

As of Tuesday, Greece has not officially confirmed the potential transfer of S-300s to Ukraine.

In June 2022, #Panagiotopoulos had ruled out the prospect of Greece transferring its S-300s to Ukraine, proclaiming that Greece faces “a real threat” and would not transfer “what we need, what is useful, and mainly operationally active.”

It’ll be great when the ideological war that we have with Russia is old news.”

💥 In Kupyansk direction, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been neutralised by artillery strikes near Timkovka, Kislovka, and Berestovoye (Kharkov region).

◻️ Over 20 Ukrainian personnel, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, and 3 motor vehicles have been eliminated.

💥 In Krasny Liman direction, artillery fire, Assault and Army aviation strikes launched at units from 95th Airborne Assault Brigade of the AFU near Serebryanskoye forestry have resulted in the elimination of up to 70 Ukrainian personnel, 3 armoured fighting vehicles, and 5 pickups.

💥 In Donetsk direction, Russian forces continued their offensive operations that have resulted in taking new advantageous lines and positions.
