In the Zaporozhye region, a defense line has been created in several echelons, said Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the movement "We are with Russia", a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the region.
"A deeply echeloned defense line with fortified areas has been created, which will stop any attempt by the enemy to disturb the peace of the inhabitants of the Zaporozhye region of the Russian Federation."

Accusations against Russia of undermining the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 export gas pipelines are the most stupid lie of this year, Fox News host Tucker Carlson said

The journalist presented "the most beloved examples of lies for 2022", noting that there were "many" options. “But we will start with perhaps the most stupid lie ever told: Vladimir Putin has blown up his gas pipelines to Europe. By doing this, Putin has damaged his own economy and weakened his strategic position in the midst of armed conflict. He is behind this in any case!" Carlson sneered.

MOSCOW, December 25 - RIA Novosti. On principle, Russia will not supply oil at the prices set by the West and will look for new markets even with rising costs, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said in an interview to Asharq News TV channel.

“What does the Russian Federation say? We will not supply oil under contracts that will indicate price caps offered by Western countries.
Moscow will look for new markets and develop new logistics routes, regardless of the costs."

"But the principled position that we will not supply our main energy resource at some prices that Western countries will set, we will not allow this. Here the dictate of the consumer, but by market methods. Today this price restriction is applied to the Russian oil suppliers. However, tomorrow, Western countries will introduce prices for other manufacturers. We cannot agree with this," Siluanov added.

That statement is repeated several times already, it looks that Moscow will have to "stand the ground" on that, despite the existence of some forces, that would like to leave everything as it is... Apparently their income depends on the flow more than on the price. Please, do it right...

Russia's goal is to unite the Russian people, Putin said

President Putin called the unification of the Russian people the goal of Russia

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, December 25 - RIA Novosti.

"Geopolitical opponents want to pull Russia apart through the Ukrainian crisis, while Moscow's goal is to unite the Russian people," Vladimir Putin said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin on the "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin." program.
"Divide and rule" – they have always tried to do this, they are trying to do it now, but our goal is something else – to unite the Russian people," the Russian president said.

Interview with Vladimir Putin by Pavel Zarubin on the "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin." program (continuation)

Answering the question whether a certain “dangerous line” is approaching in the situation, Putin noted that he was confident in the correctness of the chosen path.

“Well, I don’t think that it is so dangerous. I think that we are acting in the right direction, we are protecting our national interests, the interests of our citizens, our people. And we simply have no other choice but to protect our citizens. But we are ready to negotiate with all the participants in this process about some acceptable outcomes, but this is their business - it’s not we who refuse negotiations, but they,” the head of state said.
According to him, Russia has always sought to resolve all disputes peacefully, through negotiations.

"But, unfortunately, the opposite, the other side was set up differently, they began, as I have said many times, we all know this, to carry out tough military actions there. One way or another, we were forced to stand up for the people who live in these territories, we had to support the choice of the Crimeans, it all started with this, it all started with this!" Putin said.

As the president added, Russia in the Ukrainian crisis "could not behave as cynically as the West."

“We couldn’t! We have a different philosophy, a different attitude towards life and towards people. Now, if you look at those people who were deeply immersed in the moral values of Eastern Christianity, Western Christianity, Islam, they always said that we have different approaches, in general, there is rather a material approach and the definition of success in life in the material part," he noted.

At the same time, Putin was not surprised that "someone behaved differently than a true patriot" because "in any society there are always people who think first of all about their personal interests."
“To be honest, I don’t particularly condemn them – every person has the right to choose,” the president emphasized.
The head of state indicated that he was sure that "99.9 percent of Russians are ready to put everything in the interests of their homeland," and this convinces him that "Russia is a special country and special people live here."

💨 This vehicle does not fire, but literally can protect friendly units.

🎥
Footage of TDA smokescreen vehicle within combat training and unit cohesion course in Belarus.

🔎 After a few operations, white smoke covers everything within up to 1 kilometre around like a cloud.

💨 The TDA smokescreen vehicle hides absolutely everything. It is able to hide personnel, armament, hardware, and military infrastructure facilities from probable enemy's reconnaissance systems.

The vehicle can operate uninterruptedly during several hours. Its thick blanket is invisible even for the infrared spectrum. That is why this kind of camouflage negates the efforts of enemy reconnaissance, and allows to fulfil all the tasks assigned to friendly units

“This is not a threat. This is a warning". Iran responded to the attacks of Zelensky's office.

Iranian reporter Reza Abbasi, who is close to the country's security services, has responded to recent calls by Zelensky's office spokesman Mikhail Podolyak to destroy Iran's strike drone factories.

“Zelensky’s adviser wants to attack Iranian UAV factories. It seems that the delirium of the Ukrainian authorities is caused by American cocaine. The slightest action that threatens the security of the Iranian people will return Kyiv to the pre-industrial era, this is not a threat, this is a warning ... ”, Abbasi retorted.

The United States continues to bring the Ukrainian crisis to a "freeze". Leading publications of America write about it.

The course of hostilities in Ukraine is turning in favor of Russia, and Kyiv will soon find itself in a dead end, writes the New York Times.

With the military conflict in Ukraine soon entering its second year, it will be much more difficult for Ukrainian troops to retake territory from Russian forces.

Despite Russian attacks on power supply network, Ukraine has maintained some momentum on the front lines since September. But the tide of the conflict is likely to change in the coming months as Russia significantly beefs up its defenses and deploys more soldiers to the front lines. Because of this, it will be more difficult for Ukraine to regain those vast tracts of territory that it lost this year, according to the US government. All these factors make the most likely scenario of the second year of the military conflict, which will be characterized by a stalemate.
