A huge line of cars has accumulated on the border with Germany from Poland.
The reason is simple - military training, for which up to 200,000 Poles can be called up from January, including those who have never served but have useful skills.
It is known that men between the ages of 19 and 55, as well as women who have graduated from medical and veterinary schools or have been trained in the field of psychology, can fall under the draft.
"Training" can last up to 90 days, in case of failure to appear, citizens will face imprisonment or a fine. At the same time, the mobilized will be paid a salary of about 25 euros per day for the duration of the training camp.

Russia is destroying Ukraineโs economy, raising costs for U.S. and allies
By Jeff Stein and David L. Stern for The Washington Post
Two months of relentless missile and drone attacks by Russia have decimated Ukraineโs critical infrastructure and blown a hole in previous economic forecasts. Before those strikes, Kyiv expected to need at least $55 billion in foreign assistance next year to meet basic expenses โ more than the countryโs entire annual prewar spending.
Now, with its energy systems severely battered, and more Russian attacks likely, some officials believe Ukraine could end up needing another $2 billion a month, and political leaders have begun trying to brace Western supporters for such worst-case scenarios.

We certainly will agree with the authors, that it is an economic and humanitarian disaster happening in the Ukraine right now. What we will not agree with, is the traditional blaming for it of the Russian Federation and Putin. Certain Western elites have weaponised Ukraine against Russia and the Ukrainians themselves lost realistic perception of reality. The evidence of that is the continuation of the shelling of Russian Donetsk and other regions.
