At the White House, the wife of basketball player Britney Griner, Cheryl, delivered a speach....
Biden called Britney "the best thing in America."
A spokeswoman for Karine Jean-Pierre said: โWe had no choice as to which American to bring home. It was a choice between returning home one American or none.โ
The Associated Press stated, "Griner's trade is not what we hoped for, but what we were able to get."
Trump called the exchange "a stupid and unpatriotic disgrace."

"So the Russians were right from the start? Is that what Merkel is saying?"
Foreign Twitter is digesting a recent interview with the ex-Chancellor of Germany to the newspaper Zeit. There, Angela Merkel said that the Minsk agreements were just an attempt to "give Ukraine time." Even earlier, this idea was voiced by former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
According to Frau Merkel, in 2015 Ukraine was too weak and it was extremely easy to defeat her on the battlefield. And then the NATO countries would not be able to provide so much assistance. Therefore, with the help of the Minsk agreements, the West froze the conflict in order to give Ukraine the opportunity to rearm."

Every single human has different values to the guy sitting next to him, we all have different beliefs, values, the most importantly to today's post, ethical standards.
There are now 8 billion humans, so a variety of opinions and standards across the entire spectrum can be observed, but there's a few problems that.
If you think you're right, and I think I'm right, then who really is right, objectively speaking?
The Liberal, Secularist, Atheist, and the scumbags will try to convince you that, materialistically speaking, the things that benefit you the most are would be what is objectively good for you, the Sophists of Greece thought so too, and to he honest, they're a bunch of cucks, their belief was that there really was no true evil or good, just different perspectives, well, shit, guess that 7 meter long pole going to your chest is just another perspective, man.
But here is mine, and it's nothing special, really.
There is always an objective, ethical standard, why do we think robbing people is bad? Because God told us that, and for a time, the atheist, liberal, and secularist also believed that, fearing for his properties, not his soul, but apparently in San Francisco I am allowed to steal commodities as long as they don't surpass the 900 dollar mark, lmao.
God's rulings and values are objective ones, not subjective, and since they're objective ones and he know best, that means they can't be wrong and therefore are correct.
Thievery is a serious crime, and must be heavily punished, because there's a reason why America is a shit hole now, but God is also merciful - the common myth of how thieves in Islam get their hands chopped off is only half true, God said it is permissable to not implement this punishment in a society that has failed it's citizens in it's economic needs - that is, there is poverty, famine, and starvation.
Overall, I like to think that if everyone implements these general, objective, core values, the world will be a much better place, and by the way - that doesn't contradict with free will, of course you and me are going to have differing opinions, but values and ethics are not related to that.
Just try to be a better person, guys, it's not expensive to be kind to someone, and don't go out of your way to be mean to someone, unless they're faggots or heathens, of course.

Putin Says Russia May Add Nuclear First Strike to Strategy
Bloomberg
โRussian leader cites what he calls US preventive-strike idea
โPutin warned this week risk of nuclear conflict was rising
Vladimir Putin said Russia may consider formally adding the possibility of a preventive nuclear first strike to disarm an opponent to its military doctrine, just days after warning that the risk of atomic war is rising.
โWeโre thinking about this,โ the Russian president told reporters after a summit in Kyrgyzstan. โIf we are talking about a disarming strike, perhaps we should think about using the approaches of our American partners,โ he said, citing what he called US strategies to use high-accuracy missiles for a preventive strike.

Russia Ambassador Says Putin Nuclear Deterrence 'Works' โ Biden Would Do Same
BY TOM O'CONNOR for the Newsweek
Moscow's envoy in Washington has defended Russian President Vladimir Putin's rhetoric on nuclear deterrence against U.S. criticism, telling Newsweek the Kremlin's approach was part of a successful self-deterrence doctrine and one not unlike that of the White House.
Since launching a war against Ukraine in February, the Russian leader has repeatedly reminded rivals of his nuclear arsenal, emphasizing that he was prepared to defend national interests by any means necessary.
Speaking Wednesday at his Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights in Moscow, Putin asserted that his country's nuclear weapons "are in a more advanced and modern form than those of any other nuclear country." But he said he would not "brandish these weapons like a razor, running around the world," rather they were "a natural deterrent."
U.S. State Department spokesperson Ned Price reacted hours later, criticizing what he called Putin's "nuclear saber-rattling" as "irresponsible" and "dangerous" during a press briefing in Washington, D.C.
But Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov told Newsweek that "it is unclear where the U.S. side sees irresponsibility."
"Russia takes seriously its special responsibility as a leading nuclear power to maintain global security and stability and prevent armed conflicts, especially nuclear ones," Antonov said. "We therefore continue to patiently remind Washington and its allies of the risks inherent in continuing the 'proxy war' against our country on Ukrainian territory."
He accused President Joe Biden's administration of misconstruing the meaning of the Kremlin's words.
"One gets the impression that the administration is using Russian warnings as a mere excuse to criticize, without listening to the substance of our arguments," Antonov said.
"But to break it down, what is so unreasonable about the president's words?" Antonov added. "He reminded us of the immutable fact โ that Russia will defend itself and protect its allies with all available means, if necessary. Is the U.S. position any different?"

Russia is providing 'unprecedented' military support to Iran in exchange for drones, officials say
โThis partnership poses a threat not just to Ukraine, but to Iranโs neighbors in the region,โ a senior administration official told NBC News.
Russia is now providing an "unprecedented level" of military and technical support to Iran in exchange for Tehran supplying weapons for the war in Ukraine, senior Biden administration officials say.
As part of the enhanced partnership, Russia may be providing Iran with advanced military equipment and components, including helicopters and air defense systems. In the spring, Iranian pilots trained in Russia to fly the Sukhoi Su-35, a Russian fighter jet, which the officials say indicates Iran โmay begin receiving the aircraft within the next year.โ
The White House had previously said it believes that Iran was supplying drones to Russia for use in Ukraine, but the relationship between the two nations is transforming into โa full-fledged defense partnership" with weapons and military expertise flowing in both directions, the officials said.
Russia is looking to collaborate with Iran on weapons development, including possibly establishing a joint production line for drones in Russia, according to the officials.
โThis partnership poses a threat not just to Ukraine, but to Iranโs neighbors in the region,โ one senior administration official said. โWe have shared this information with partners in the Middle East and around the world.โ
On Friday, the Biden administration is expected to designate three Russia-based entities that have been involved in the transfer of Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles, or UAVs, for use in Ukraine, the officials said. Those entities include the Russian Aerospace Forces, which receives the UAVs, and Russiaโs 924th State Center for Unmanned Aviation. Personnel from the 924th traveled to Iran to receive training in how to operate the Iranian weapons.
The officials said the U.S. is also โlooking at options to bring together a group of like-minded countries to discuss Iran-Russia military cooperation," and is working with other nations to ensure Russia and Iran cannot move equipment, weapons or money through their countries to support this new partnership.
โWe are imposing costs on the actors involved in the transfer of Iranian UAVs to Russia for use in Ukraine,โ one official said. โWe are assessing further steps we can take in terms of export controls to restrict Iranโs access to sensitive technologies.โ
Since the invasion of Ukraine, Iran has become Russiaโs top military supporter, selling several hundred UAVs to Moscow since August alone. Russia has used these drones to attack Ukraineโs energy and critical infrastructure in strikes that have killed civilians.
The U.S. believes Iran is considering the sale of hundreds of ballistic missiles to Russia, the senior administration officials said. And they expect Iranian support for the Russian military to continue to grow in the coming months.
โWe urge Iran to reverse course and not to take these steps,โ one official said. โWe are using the tools at our disposal to expose and disrupt these activities โ and we are prepared to do more.โ
Later Friday, the Biden administration is expected to announce the next security assistance package for Ukraine. The package, valued around $275 million, will include more ammunition for the advanced rocket launchers known as HIMARS and for Ukrainian artillery.
