It was then controlled by the Ukrainian military, which were armed with the Buk air defence system, inherited by Kyiv after the collapse of the USSR. The court recognized Almaz-Antey as a competent expert, but called into question the credibility of its conclusions. Judge Steenhuis explained that Almaz-Antey, due to its links with the Russian authorities, does not have the independence required of an expert, but emphasized that it cannot be said that its data on the MH17 case is not valuable.

Later, the court stated that the Buk air defence system, from which the plane was shot down, was brought from Russia to Ukraine, and then taken back. At the same time, it is noted that the actions of the crew of the anti-aircraft missile system cannot be established. It is also not clear who gave the command to launch the rocket. In addition, the judge denied the prosecutor's claim that the defendants in this case acted as a single group, but emphasized that they were involved in the use of the SAM.

Now power engineers have already returned electricity to about 70% of consumers in some areas of the central region and have prepared high-voltage lines for connection in the western and Dnieper regions. In the deoccupied Kherson region, repair teams of Ukrenergo, together with sappers, are inspecting high-voltage lines. There, the speed of work is held back by densely mined territory.

"With each attack, blackouts can last even longer. Strikes on the power grid are the only thing left for the enemy who loses the battle to the heroic APU at the front. This requires endurance and courage, both from power engineers who have to constantly repair what the enemy has destroyed, and from every Ukrainian who has to change their way of life. Patience and courage are what we need this winter if we want to win," Ukrenergo said.

In the ninth month of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Arbitration Court in Stockholm ordered the Finnish gas operator Gasum to pay Gazprom 300 million euros with interest.

This is reported by the Polish edition of Energia.rp.pl, while specifying that the Finns were punished for refusing to pay in rubles, so now Gazprom will sue its other customers in the EU, who also refused to pay.

The Swedish arbitration recognized the decree of the President of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin on the transfer of payments for gas into rubles as correct. The court ordered the Finnish company Gasum to pay the debt of Gazprom Export LLC in the amount of more than 300 million euros for gas supplies in connection with the failure to fulfill the "take or pay" obligation. The court also ruled to pay interest for late payment.
