Apparently, the Ukrainian secret service has placed Ramzan Kadyrov on their "wanted list". This is what he had to say about that.
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
The SBU can't find me. The whole world knows that I am in the center of Grozny, and the stupid security service of Ukraine has once again put me on their “wanted” list. I have already stated this and will say it again: SBU folks, name the place and time! You don't have to look for me. By the way, I have already been to Ukraine a couple of times, and I have not seen anyone preoccupied with my capture there. The Ukrainian manhunt methods are apparently only suitable for Internet searches, because my intelligence reports that the SBU is not going to take any real operational actions "on the ground" to establish my whereabouts and is actually incapable of taking such actions, as power goes out regularly, and it is very difficult to work in such conditions. And the air raid sirens are always getting in the way.

🎙 Statement by Permanent Representative Vassily Nebenzia at UNSC briefing on Ukraine (November 16, 2022)
💬 Had this meeting not been scheduled, we would have needed to call it to address the attempts of Ukraine and Poland to provoke a direct clash between Russian and NATO.
The irresponsible statements made by the leaders of these two states cannot be perceived otherwise. Take the statement by V.Zelensky.
💬 “Hitting NATO territory with missiles... This is a Russian missile attack on collective security! This is a really significant escalation. Action is needed!”
☝️ I underscore that such claims are made by the person who cannot but be well aware that it had been Ukrainian air-defense missiles that hit the territory of Poland.
👉 It means that we are having to do not with just another piece of disinformation, but with a conscious attempt to drag NATO, which is waging “a war by proxy” on Russia in Ukraine, into a direct confrontation with our country.

No brains, no hearing: a former Israeli intelligence officer called the reason for the failure of the "missile incident" of Ukraine and Poland. Read the article
Yakov Kedmi is convinced that the "authors" of the provocation do not understand the main thing - the domestic political situation in the United States is already different.
The former Israeli intelligence officer recalled that in eight years Ukraine has committed many provocations against Russia, and the West has always supported it. But today the Kiev regime has missed that the situation has changed, and the reaction to the fall of the S-300 missile on the territory of Poland will be completely different: no approval. At the same time, the military analyst is convinced that the missile was launched on purpose, and not to intercept the Russian one, as they later tried to present the situation in Poland and Ukraine.

Poland did not allow Ukraine to participate in the investigation into the fall of the rocket
Duda: representatives of Ukraine can get acquainted with the investigation into the fall of a rocket in Poland
WARSAW, November 17 - RIA Novosti. Representatives of Ukraine will be allowed to familiarize themselves with the investigation into the fall of a rocket in Poland, but will not be allowed to participate in it, said Polish President Andrzej Duda.
Earlier, the head of the Bureau of International Policy of the Office of the President of Poland, Jakub Kumoch, said that Ukrainian experts were allowed to visit the place where the rocket fell on the territory of Poland.
"In order to be able to talk about participation in investigative actions, in order to be able to talk about participation in the investigation, the relevant rules of international law, international treaties must be implemented. This is always an activity within the framework of the so-called legal assistance," Duda told reporters.
He noted that the same opinion was shared by the prosecutor working on site.
"If guests from Ukraine want to see the actions and the investigation, then they can be shown it, but if we are talking about participation in the investigation, about access to documents, to information, then this already requires specific grounds in terms of international law and international treaties," explained the Polish president.

The Hague court found Girkin, Dubinsky and Kharchenko guilty of destroying MH17
MOSCOW, November 17 - RIA Novosti. The District Court of The Hague found Russians Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinsky and Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko guilty of destroying the MH17 aircraft and killing 298 of its passengers, they were sentenced to life imprisonment.
"The court found that Girkin, Dubinsky and Kharchenko are accomplices in the crime. Thus, the court finds them guilty on two counts - in the destruction of the MH17 aircraft and the murder of 298 of its passengers," Judge Hendrik Steenhuis said, announcing the verdict.
The requirement of the Dutch prosecutor's office to imprison the fourth suspect - Russian Oleg Pulatov - was rejected. The man was found not guilty, since it was not possible to establish whether he had anything to do with the use of the Buk air defence system. In addition, as the correspondent of RIA Novosti emphasized, the court did not link the use of the complex directly with Russia.
According to the decision of the court, the rocket that shot down the Boeing in the sky over the Donbass in 2014 was fired from the territory controlled at that time by the DPR militia, from the village of Pervomaiskoye.
At the same time, the Russian defence concern Almaz-Antey, examining the alleged missile launch sites, in its investigation came to the conclusion that the launch scenario from Snezhnoye or Pervomaisky was not confirmed.
The enterprise conducted three full-scale experiments simulating the situation. They confirmed that only a 9M38 missile could hit the plane from the side of the Zaroshchenskoye settlement. It was then controlled by the Ukrainian military, which were armed with the Buk air defence system, inherited by Kyiv after the collapse of the USSR. The Dutch experts declined an invitation to attend one of the experiments.
The court recognized Almaz-Antey as a competent expert, but called into question the credibility of its conclusions. Judge Steenhuis explained that Almaz-Antey, due to its links with the Russian authorities, does not have the independence required of an expert, but emphasized that it cannot be said that its data on the MH17 case is not valuable.
Later, the court stated that the Buk air defence system, from which the plane was shot down, was brought from Russia to Ukraine, and then taken back. At the same time, it is noted that the actions of the crew of the anti-aircraft missile system cannot be established. It is also not clear who gave the command to launch the rocket. In addition, the judge denied the prosecutor's claim that the defendants in this case acted as a single group, but emphasized that they were involved in the use of the SAM.

"There are dozens": Ukrenergo showed a transformer that was hit by a Russian missile
Victoria Gordienko
22:04, 11/17/22
The company clearly demonstrated the situation in the energy system of Ukraine after massive Russian attacks using a simple example.
Only on November 15, Russian missiles damaged 15 energy facilities in Ukraine, and thousands of kilometers of main high-voltage lines are not working. This infrastructure is necessary for the distribution of electricity from power plants and transmission from the western regions to the east, that is, throughout the country.
According to Ukrenergo, more than 1,000 specialists are working 24/7 to restore the power system, patching what can be patched and replacing what can be replaced.
In order to keep the stable operation of the energy system in such conditions and avoid even greater accidents, Ukraine is forced to resort to forced consumption restrictions - up to 40% across the country. Now the charts are applied throughout Ukraine.
"Such measures can be compared to the work of a traffic controller during traffic jams. If repairs are carried out on the highway, the traffic controller stops the movement of cars on one side and lets the others through. This is the only way to drive through a narrow road under such circumstances. While drivers in a traffic jam are angry with the traffic controller , repairmen are restoring the road," they gave an example of power engineering.
At the same time, Ukrenergo showed a photograph of a transformer at one of the large substations in western Ukraine: when the rocket hit it, about 400,000 people were left without electricity.
"There are dozens of such transformers in the power system now. This equipment cannot be replaced quickly, but power engineers are doing everything to restore power in the country," the company stressed.
Now power engineers have already returned electricity to about 70% of consumers in some areas of the central region and have prepared high-voltage lines for connection in the western and Dnieper regions. In the deoccupied Kherson region, repair teams of Ukrenergo, together with sappers, are inspecting high-voltage lines. There, the speed of work is held back by densely mined territory.
"With each attack, blackouts can last even longer. Strikes on the power grid are the only thing left for the enemy who loses the battle to the heroic APU at the front. This requires endurance and courage, both from power engineers who have to constantly repair what the enemy has destroyed, and from every Ukrainian who has to change their way of life. Patience and courage are what we need this winter if we want to win," Ukrenergo said.

The arbitration put an end to the dispute between Gazprom and the Finns: you can not pay in rubles
Elena Kovalenko
16:51, 11/17/22
The Swedish arbitration recognized as lawful the decree of the President of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin on the transfer of payments for gas into rubles.
In the ninth month of a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Arbitration Court in Stockholm ordered the Finnish gas operator Gasum to pay Gazprom 300 million euros with interest.
This is reported by the Polish edition of Energia.rp.pl, while specifying that the Finns were punished for refusing to pay in rubles, so now Gazprom will sue its other customers in the EU, who also refused to pay.
The Swedish arbitration recognized the decree of the President of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin on the transfer of payments for gas into rubles as correct. The court ordered the Finnish company Gasum to pay the debt of Gazprom Export LLC in the amount of more than 300 million euros for gas supplies in connection with the failure to fulfill the "take or pay" obligation. The court also ruled to pay interest for late payment.
Thus, the tribunal confirmed the legality of suspending natural gas supplies in the event of non-payment by the buyer in rubles in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 31, 2022.
The arbitration also ruled that the parties are obliged to continue negotiations on an agreement to regulate further gas supplies.
According to the publication, after this verdict, Gazprom is likely to sue other EU clients who also refused to pay in rubles. In turn, both Gasum and other companies said they would sue Gazprom for cutting off supplies despite existing contracts.
Gasum reported that an arbitration court in Finland allowed the company not to pay in rubles under a contract with Gazprom Export.
Gazprom's requirement:
On May 21, 2022, Gazprom suspended gas exports to Finland because Helsinki refused to comply with Russia's demand to pay for gas in rubles.
The Finns, as well as other countries, including Poland, regarded such a requirement as a violation of contracts that require payment in dollars or euros. Russian rubles are not mentioned in the contracts.

Well, it is really amazing, it is not a mistake - the Ukrainian source claims, that it is OK not to pay in Rubles (in the header of the article). However, the whole article explains, that it was considered illegal, and the payments should be made in the currency named by the seller (Russia). Do they really think, that people read only the headers?
