The UN announced the resumption of the movement of ships in the framework of the "grain deal"
UN coordinator Abdullah expects grain traffic to resume on November 3
UN, November 2 — RIA Novosti. UN coordinator for the "Black Sea Grain Initiative" Amir Abdullah announced that the movement of ships with food will resume on Thursday.
"The export of grain and food from Ukraine must continue. Despite the fact that within the framework of the Black Sea Grain Initiative no ships are scheduled for November 2, we expect loaded ships to go on Thursday," he wrote on Twitter.
Vladimir Putin discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the prospects for a grain deal on Tuesday. According to the Russian leader, Moscow is ready to consider resuming it only after receiving real guarantees from Kyiv that the humanitarian corridor will not be used for military purposes.
The Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey, Sergei Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu, during a telephone conversation, confirmed the need to obtain guarantees that humanitarian maritime corridors would not be used for military purposes.
A well-informed source in Istanbul told RIA Novosti that the issue of guaranteeing the security of the grain corridor is being discussed, but there are no specifics at the moment.
At the same time, Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar said that bulk carriers under the Turkish flag will continue to export agricultural products from Ukraine through the grain corridor.

Russia has become the largest supplier of oil to India
Vortexa: Russia has become the largest oil supplier to India, overtaking Saudi Arabia
NEW DELHI, November 2 — RIA Novosti. Russia became the largest oil supplier to India in October, overtaking the traditional leaders in this indicator - Saudi Arabia and Iraq, analysts at the industry analytical company Vortexa said.
"In October, Russia delivered 946 thousand barrels of oil per day to India, which is the highest figure in a month, or 22% of all crude oil imports to India. At the same time, Iraq accounted for 20.5% of October deliveries, and Saudi Arabia - 16%," the Economic Times quotes the company's data.
According to analysts, the total volume of crude oil imports by India increased in October compared to September by 5%, and imports from Russia — by 8%. At the same time, although China is the largest buyer of Russian oil delivered by sea, importing more than a million barrels a day, India for the first time imported more oil from Russia by sea than the European Union — volumes were 34% higher than in the EU, the publication reports.
At the same time, the company's analysts admit the possibility of a reduction in oil imports from Russia to India in December due to delivery restrictions that may arise in connection with the price ceiling proposed by the West for Russian raw materials.
“There remains a lot of uncertainty about whether Russian oil supplies can be maintained at this level after the EU ban on December 5, with the availability of ice-class tankers to transport oil from Russian Baltic ports being one of the biggest constraints,” said Serena Huang, an analyst at Vortexa. .
In early October, the European Union introduced the eighth package of sanctions against Russia, which includes a legislative basis for setting a price ceiling for maritime shipments of Russian oil to third countries. It is planned to introduce a price limit for oil from December 5, 2022, and for oil products on February 5, 2023. The introduction of a ceiling on gas prices is still being discussed, and no agreement has yet been reached on this issue.
The idea of a ceiling on oil prices in the West began to be discussed in the summer at the initiative of the United States. The US Treasury offered to limit the price to $40-60 per barrel. Now, according to Bloomberg, citing sources, the administration of President Joe Biden is revising the conditions in the direction of raising the ceiling. The agency also noted that the US and EU are likely to impose more freely administered caps with a higher cap price than anticipated.

A Ukrainian woman is running (my guess) from Ukrainean mobilisation. She attempted to enter the Zaporozhye region, which is now in Russia, but ran into a problem. Earlier, the woman actively besmirched, demonized, and insulted Russia and the Russian military. As a result, she could not enter Russia and had to remain in Ukraine.

"The majority of young Arabs believe democracy would never work in the Middle East, a major regional survey has revealed."
Yes, yes we do not, first of all, democracy is haram, it is a man-made system and therefore can not be better than the one mandated to us by God, however, numerous fatwas have been issued to sanctify its presence - since Islamic people can, in theory, elect Islamic governments, where said Islamic governments should have the introduction of Sharia and the establishment of the Caliphate as one of its priorities, that is the stated reason of why Muslims should tolerate Democracy, nothing more, nothing less, and to choose the lesser evil, of course.
And what has Democracy ever done to us? I am speaking as someone who has lived through the Arab Spring, and a subsequent Revolt, yes, these revolts were obviously for the better, we live better because of these, and for my country, the material standards did increase, but only a Western fool would assume we actually to be in some sort of democratic "paradise" like Canada, where the ruling party barely even got 30% of the vote and still got cuz muh parliament, or do I even need to talk about America or Europe?
We only started these revolts, due to some factors, and I assure you, none of these factors were "I want to vote and spread gay flays and freedom of expression!!!!!"
And to the fools who actually went this, well, look at Lebanon, look at Tunisia, Iraq, Syria, need I say more?
Now, about the second poll, of who we view as our "allies" or that, this is where I am actually confused, so far that I checked the methodology, and I still am confused.
Turkey is not an ally of the Arab world, it is actively dismembering Syria, and Erdogan only pays lipstick service to the cause of Palestine for the few recent years, his intents to be the next Caliph are just a sham.
And our hatred of the Iranian system is completely justified - Iran has intervened in the internal affairs of Libya and Egypt, at least their presence in Syria is justified because the Syrian president asked for their presence, and Lebanon -I am so and so-, I have differences with Hezbollah, but as far as I am concerned, they are the only armed entity engaging in a state of conflict with Israel, so let us deal with the main issue at hand.
Our outlooks towards China and Russia are understandable - they invest in our countries, we, religiously and historically speaking, relate more towards Russia than whatever the fuck is going on in Europe, and China - the Chinese are like the Jews of Asia minus all the bad parts, they really want to trade with you, and if you are strong, on fair terms, they will not be sleazy, they will say I want this and that, and you will say in exchange for Y or Z, and then negotiations happen... does it ring any bells?
Of course, I can not speak to Chinese conduct in Asia or the Pacific, I only care about what is going on in the Middle East - and so far, they have proven themselves to be understanding partners in political and economical affairs.
Addendum : our positions regarding Russia and China, the normal healthy one, is more of self-interest and expressed in Anti-American/Mutual Cooperation policies, not because of Pro-this or that

A #Russian #UAV, costing a mere $20,000, takes out not one, but TWO Ukrainian #S300 Air Defence system #missile launcher units sonewhere near Zaporozhye.
Each S300 missile unit launcher costs several Millions of dollars at an absolute minimum.
The exact cost is hard to determine because the S300 is a complete system comprising several missile Launcher unit vehicles, several #radar unit vehicles and several units carry extra missiles
Compare this to the cost of a #US-made #Javelin #AntiTank launcher and missile system which costs approx $150,000 for the launcher alone and a further $100,000 for each missile.
Those US-supplied Javelins were mostly used against older Russian #T72 #tanks, which cost approx $500,000, a relatively paltry sum in comparison to #S300 launcher units

The West is afraid of an investigation into biological activities, Polyansky said
Polyansky: The West is afraid of the creation of the UN Security Council commission on biological activities in Ukraine
UN, November 3 - RIA Novosti. The West is afraid of the creation of a UN Security Council commission to investigate the circumstances of the military-biological activities of the United States and Kyiv on the territory of Ukraine, Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Representative of Russia to the organization, said at a meeting of the Security Council.
The day before, the Security Council did not adopt a Russian resolution. Russia and China voted for the project. The USA, Britain, France were against it. The remaining members of the Security Council abstained.
“We held two rounds of consultations on the project, but we heard from our former Western partners only old theses about Russian propaganda and claims that the evidence we presented was allegedly not convincing enough and did not deserve further consideration,” Polyansky said.
The diplomat stressed that Western representatives made all these conclusions unilaterally, anticipating any conclusions of the Security Council and, in fact, replacing the decision of a key UN body with their biased national assessments.
“We regret that our Western colleagues actually sabotaged the negotiation process on the draft resolution. It became obvious that Western countries are simply afraid of creating a commission that will consider the relevant materials submitted by Russia and conduct an investigation on them, as provided for by the BTWC,” said the First Deputy Representative.
According to him, they are especially dissatisfied with the fact that this commission should have consisted of all members of the Security Council, "because they are trying to unilaterally make a decision for the entire international community."
"Other forms of international cooperation do not suit them, as they do not fit into the promoted concept of the so-called rules-based order, which they will determine themselves," he said.
As Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, head of the Radiation Chemical and Biological Protection Troops (RCBZ) of the Russian Armed Forces, previously reported, a network of more than 30 biological laboratories has been formed on the territory of Ukraine that worked in the interests of the Pentagon. He clarified that after the start of the Russian special military operation, everything was taken out of the country to continue the military biological program of the United States.

Brazil will maintain a position of rejection of sanctions against Russia, said the ambassador
Ambassador Labecki: Under Lula, Brazil will maintain its position of rejecting sanctions against Russia
BUENOS AIRES, November 3 - RIA Novosti. Under new President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Brazil will maintain its principled position of rejecting unilateral sanctions against Russia, said Alexei Labetsky, Ambassador to the Latin American country.
“It is clear that the collective West will try to connect this country to those sanctions regimes and to the sanctions policy that they are pursuing against us. It is clear that they will not stop there, but I have a high degree of conviction that Brazil is a country which pursues a sovereign foreign policy and determines its interests not according to what certain countries dictate, but determines its foreign policy based on national interests," the Russian diplomat told RIA Novosti.
According to him, Brazil will pursue an active foreign policy and will be focused on national interests of a global nature.
“Everyone rightly says today that Brazil is a superpower in the field of agro-industry, the largest regional power. It is one of the centers for solving world environmental problems. It is a country that has the ability to influence the development of global processes in the field of food security and industry,” Labetsky emphasized. .
After the start of the Russian military special operation in Ukraine, Western countries stepped up sanctions pressure on Moscow. This provoked an increase in fuel prices and record inflation in the US and Europe themselves. As President Vladimir Putin has pointed out, the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy for the West, but the sanctions have dealt a severe blow to the entire global economy. According to him, the main goal of the United States and its allies is to worsen the lives of millions of people.
In Brazil, the second round of presidential elections took place on October 30, in which Lula da Silva defeated incumbent President Jair Bolsonaro by a narrow margin. Lula's third term at the head of the country's executive branch will begin on January 1.
