Five-Year plans.
The Soviet union is known for alot of things, for scientific achievements, material advancements, and that it was also the first ambitious attempt of a new economic model, Communism.
The five year plan is a part of that.
The USSR inherited most of the territorial units, and economic resources that it's predecessors, the Russian Empire, held, however Russia is a big country, it just came out of a destructive civil war, it was largely isolated, and it was technologically lacking behind some other countries.
The communist leadership decided that only a massive, centralized economic reform was the way for the country to advance, and so the five year plans were a thing.
Gosplan, the centralized state planning committee of the USSR, enacted over 13 five-year plans, the first plan between 1928 to 1932 was a major success, it made the USSR a leading industrial nation, however there were also massive famines, excaberated by environmental and climate issues, and how, to put it bluntly, the state was autistically focused on the industry so that it ignored the peasantry.
This period in the west is called the Holodomor, and it's used as a "muh genocide" on Ukrainians, of course, they're ignoring the fact that many Russians and Kazakhs starved to death too, and that Western histography has been tainted and biased in regards to this, I, an avid hater of Communism, can even see through this bullshit.
The second plan, from '33
to '37, was also a success as it greatly benefited the state in terms of logistics and communications, the third plan, which was supposed to run from 38 to '43, only ran for 3 years because of the war, however it still achieved some great success in terms of preparing the war industry.
The fourth and fifth plans, which ran from '45 to '50, and '50 to '55, was generally only concerned with repairing the damage inflicted on the USSR, the sixth plan from '56 to '61 was abandoned 2 years in because Gosplan smoked crack and put impossible goals, so Gosplan decided to be creative and make a seven year plan, from '59 to '65, was rather effective, but they didn't really overtake the USA yet.
The eight plan from '66 to '70 was mostly focused on agriculture, as the exports of grain doubled, the ninth plan that lasted from '71 to '75 was largely a failure, and it only helped to grow the technological and electronic sector of the USSR, the tenth plan from '76 to '80 was mostly focused on oil production and machinery, but most of the republics in the Union failed to achieve their goals, the eleventh plan from '81 to '85 was a massive fuck up, and you can guess what happened to the twelfth and thirteenth, which was supposed to last from '86 to '90 and '91 to '95, respectively.
Well, draw your own conclusions, personally I find it a mix, but you're the reader, not me.

The UN announced the resumption of the movement of ships in the framework of the "grain deal"
UN coordinator Abdullah expects grain traffic to resume on November 3
UN, November 2 — RIA Novosti. UN coordinator for the "Black Sea Grain Initiative" Amir Abdullah announced that the movement of ships with food will resume on Thursday.
"The export of grain and food from Ukraine must continue. Despite the fact that within the framework of the Black Sea Grain Initiative no ships are scheduled for November 2, we expect loaded ships to go on Thursday," he wrote on Twitter.
Vladimir Putin discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the prospects for a grain deal on Tuesday. According to the Russian leader, Moscow is ready to consider resuming it only after receiving real guarantees from Kyiv that the humanitarian corridor will not be used for military purposes.
The Foreign Ministers of Russia and Turkey, Sergei Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu, during a telephone conversation, confirmed the need to obtain guarantees that humanitarian maritime corridors would not be used for military purposes.
A well-informed source in Istanbul told RIA Novosti that the issue of guaranteeing the security of the grain corridor is being discussed, but there are no specifics at the moment.
At the same time, Turkish Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar said that bulk carriers under the Turkish flag will continue to export agricultural products from Ukraine through the grain corridor.

Russia has become the largest supplier of oil to India
Vortexa: Russia has become the largest oil supplier to India, overtaking Saudi Arabia
NEW DELHI, November 2 — RIA Novosti. Russia became the largest oil supplier to India in October, overtaking the traditional leaders in this indicator - Saudi Arabia and Iraq, analysts at the industry analytical company Vortexa said.
"In October, Russia delivered 946 thousand barrels of oil per day to India, which is the highest figure in a month, or 22% of all crude oil imports to India. At the same time, Iraq accounted for 20.5% of October deliveries, and Saudi Arabia - 16%," the Economic Times quotes the company's data.
According to analysts, the total volume of crude oil imports by India increased in October compared to September by 5%, and imports from Russia — by 8%. At the same time, although China is the largest buyer of Russian oil delivered by sea, importing more than a million barrels a day, India for the first time imported more oil from Russia by sea than the European Union — volumes were 34% higher than in the EU, the publication reports.
At the same time, the company's analysts admit the possibility of a reduction in oil imports from Russia to India in December due to delivery restrictions that may arise in connection with the price ceiling proposed by the West for Russian raw materials.
“There remains a lot of uncertainty about whether Russian oil supplies can be maintained at this level after the EU ban on December 5, with the availability of ice-class tankers to transport oil from Russian Baltic ports being one of the biggest constraints,” said Serena Huang, an analyst at Vortexa. .
In early October, the European Union introduced the eighth package of sanctions against Russia, which includes a legislative basis for setting a price ceiling for maritime shipments of Russian oil to third countries. It is planned to introduce a price limit for oil from December 5, 2022, and for oil products on February 5, 2023. The introduction of a ceiling on gas prices is still being discussed, and no agreement has yet been reached on this issue.
The idea of a ceiling on oil prices in the West began to be discussed in the summer at the initiative of the United States. The US Treasury offered to limit the price to $40-60 per barrel. Now, according to Bloomberg, citing sources, the administration of President Joe Biden is revising the conditions in the direction of raising the ceiling. The agency also noted that the US and EU are likely to impose more freely administered caps with a higher cap price than anticipated.

Politicians are servants of the people! And if this is not so, then the voice of the people will be louder and louder.
This is a test for every person and people as a nation. When the decisions of politicians are not for the good of its people and the whole world, then it is the duty of the people to unite and express their will.
