Nationalism and Nazism are deeply rooted in the minds of many westerners and has been just camouflaged by "culture" and "democratic values". However, under duress it comes out.

"We started this war even earlier"

Zelensky stated this in an interview with the BBC. He explained that Kiev had to prepare for a clash with "one of the most numerous armies in the world":

"That's why we wanted to join NATO... That's why we needed strong leadership from my team. That is why we fought with some political groups inside our country... We started this war even earlier," Zelensky said.

Zelensky noted that at that period Ukraine needed money and weapon:

"And that's exactly what we did. We talked. We have agreed on certain supplies not publicly," said Zelensky. He admitted that Kiev had agreed on "some things" with "some countries" even back in December and January.
