How Zelensky Lost Four Territories to Russia by not Conceding One

If Zelensky accepted the Minsk II Agreements, Crimea would have remained Russian, Donetsk & Lugansk would have been autonomous states within Ukraine, and Zaporizhzia & Kherson would have remained in Ukraine.

By not accepting the Minsk II Peace Agreements Zelensky has lost not only Donetsk & Lugansk but two more regions of Ukraine, Zaporizhzia and Kherson, which look as though they will be integrated into the Russian Federation in a week or so.

It doesn't take a military genius to understand that if Ukraine has not regained these territories with its full army, Russia adding 300,000 soldiers means they never will.

Zelensky's warmongering has therefore lost two plus two extra territories, while a negotiated peace would have reintegrated two autonomous states back within Ukraine by conceding Crimea.

Peace was the better choice for Ukraine, this seems beyond question in any rational discussion.

Ukranazi policemen from the 115th Schutzmannschaft Battalion pose with their banner, 1943.
It would seem that after joining the Germans, who burned Ukrainian villages, these soldiers should have been branded traitors to their people forever.

But such kind of beasts is honored as heroes in modern Ukraine.

Lavrov: Don't you understand Russian? It's high time to learn! 😉
Some statements from Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov:
Crisis phenomena are increasing, the situation in the field of international security is rapidly deteriorating - Lavrov

The West, instead of an honest dialogue and search for compromises, goes to crude provocations and dramatizations — Lavrov

The United States and its allies do not give anyone the freedom of choice, they threaten and twist the hands of everyone who dares to think independently, demand threats to join anti—Russian sanctions - Lavrov

The West, led by Washington, sends an intimidating signal to all other countries: "Anyone who dares to disobey can be next" - Lavrov

Now the West has thrown a tantrum over referendums in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson region, but referendums are a reaction to Zelensky's call for Russians to get out of Ukraine - Lavrov

Russian Russians, were we supposed to put up with Kiev's policy of a total ban on the Russian language, education, Russian media and culture, with demands to expel Russians from Crimea, declaring war against Donbass? — Lavrov

Contrary to elementary common sense, Washington and Brussels have aggravated the crisis situation by declaring economic war on Russia. The result is an increase in gas and food prices around the world — Lavrov
Official Russophobia has acquired unprecedented and grotesque proportions in the West - Lavrov

Under the slogan of Indo-Pacific Strategies, closed formats are being created that undermine the entire open and inclusive regional architecture that has been developing for decades around ASEAN - Lavrov

The US sets the task of subjugating Asian spaces - Lavrov

By proclaiming victory in the Cold War, Washington has elevated itself almost to the rank of the messenger of God on Earth, who has no obligations, but only "sacred" rights to act with impunity — Lavrov

The formation of sovereign states ready to defend national interests leads to the formation of an equal, socially oriented and sustainable multipolar architecture - Sergey Lavrov

🌟 The SCO in Samarkand and the UN General Assembly have demonstrated how virtually the whole Global South outside of NATOstan does not demonize Russia.

Geopolitical tectonic plates are reelin’ and rockin’, and the sound is heard all around the world, as the twin baby bears DPR and LPR plus Kherson and Zaporozhye vote on their referendums. Irretrievable fact: by the end of next week Russia most certainly will be on the way to add over 100,000 km2 and over 5 million people to the Federation.

Denis Pushilin, head of the DPR, summed it all up: “We’re going home”.

The baby bears are coming to Mama 🐻

Macron Puts Ukraine Conflict Down to... Covid-19 Isolation?

The French President was giving an interview to CNN when he made the bizarre claim that the conflict may have been triggered by 'quarantine'-induced resentment??

Emmanuel Macron said he "has no rational explanation..." so he apparently decided to come up with a totally irrational one.

“It seems to me that this is a combination of hostility, a strategy of hegemony in the region and, I would say, the consequences of COVID-19, isolation.”

Macron did however mention NATO's expansion throughout the 90s not giving Russia "respect."

⚡️ The attack on the hotel where the RT film crew was located was carried out from the HIMARS MLRS.

Two rockets were fired at the hotel, one of them was shot down. According to preliminary data, local politician Aleksey Zhuravko (Deputy of Verkhovna Rada ,5th & 6th convocation ) died.

“Remember, Ukraine said that every strike is coordinated with Washington. This means that the United States agreed on a strike on Zhuravko and on the hotel where civilians and journalists lived, ”RT military correspondent Murad @msgazdiev Gazdiev reports.

⚡️⚡️⚡️Ukrainian missile hit the hotel where RT military envoy Murad @msgazdiev Gazdiyev's film crew was staying:

"As you can see, there is not much left of the room. I was sleeping in this place."

All our targets. The cameraman Mikhail was crushed by the concrete slabs, but miraculously he survived and was almost unharmed.

After the blast the guys helped to get people out from under the rubble: "This is the room next to mine, now we can see the guy downstairs.

In addition, the explosion damaged vehicles standing near the hotel, including the SUV of our war correspondents. Though battered, the vehicle is still running.

In Alchevsk, LNR, a referendum polling station had to move to a bomb shelter due to shelling.

According to the commission's chairwoman, Olena Kravchenko, this morning there were bursts near the polling station.

I was in Gorlovka today to watch people in that hard-hit northern city cast their votes, and to speak to them about their opinions on the referendum. Echoes of yesterday: they want peace, an end to Ukraine's shelling of their city for over 8 years, they want to join Russia...(videos to follow when I have time to subtitle & upload).

The city was being shelled before I arrived, but not heavily while there. Early this morning, however, a district of the city was shelled around 6 am, the shell landing near a city bus & exploding its windows, particularly the windshield in front of the driver's seat. Fortunately, he was luckier than the central Donetsk driver 2 days ago who was destroyed by the Ukrainian-fired shell, along with 5 other civilians in the area.

[Post continued]
[Continuing from the previous post]

This morning's driver had just finished a round of his route, was taking a break for coffee and due to leave in 8 minutes when the shell struck. He was not injured, but definitely traumatized by the thought that just minutes earlier/later and he would have been killed.

A journalist with us showed me a small piece of the shell, noting that this type isn't designed to destroy military equipment, but to break into fragments and inflict more damage against whoever happened to be in the way. And Ukraine is firing them on residential areas.

He told me this district is heavily shelled by Ukraine, and that he'd been there a week prior. Ukrainian shelling nearly, but didn't, killed an elderly man in the area who lives alone & has no way to call for help if wounded, the cell reception is too weak. "If he had been injured, no one would have known," until possibly too late.

From a distance and beyond a lovely flower bed (which added incongruity to the scene), I looked at the bus, watching as a couple and their young child walked past. This area, I was told, is one of the hardest-hit in Gorlovka. Thankfully shells didn't rain down on that passing family...

We stopped at a hospital which, I was told, is treating 102 injured Donbass soldiers, 14 civilians (including an elderly woman who stepped on a Petal mine). The hospital apparently recently received several wounded Ukrainian soldiers, gave them basic preliminary treatment & they were sent on to Donetsk for further hospital care. "We don't differentiate between our soldiers & theirs," I was told, something I heard from a doctor treating wounded Ukrainian POWs, 71 of who were injured after Ukraine fired on Yelenovka detention facility in late July, killing 53 of their own (albeit Azov, but nonetheless, Ukrainian).

Although the issue of the day is the referendum on whether or not to join Russia, everything is intertwined, and Ukraine's shelling does not stop, including in Donetsk, which Ukraine repeatedly shelled today, wounding civilians.
