Europe itself is to blame for the outbreak of the fuel crisis, said former Czech President Vaclav Klaus.
"The fact that we have huge inflation and a huge rise in energy prices arose long before February 24. We brought it on ourselves, the West brought it on ourselves," he said in an interview with local media.
Klaus noted that energy independence would lead to the failure of the economy. He also criticized the move towards renewable energy.
Have you noticed, that as soon a politician leaves his office, his words start making much more sense! However, while in their official position, they would say something completely opposite...

The price of gas on the European stock exchange exceeded $3,260 per thousand cubic meters - everything is not in favor of the EU and Naftogaz (Ukrainian gaz company).
On Friday, Gazprom announced that Nord Stream will be shut down for three days, from August 31 to September 2, due to scheduled maintenance of the only working gas pumping unit at the Portovaya station.
Price growth is influenced by high demand for LNG in Asia, limited supply from major suppliers and low filling levels of gas storage facilities in Western countries after a long cold winter and abnormally hot summer.

Soldiers of the AFU tell about their unenviable situation in the Kherson sector
Soldiers of the AFU tell about their unenviable situation in the Kherson sector. They predict an exhausting positional war.
✔️The shelling at ground zero is almost incessant: sometimes it is impossible to even lift our heads. Soldiers lie at the bottom of the trenches for hours, some cover themselves with body armour, and the most canny ones even haul pieces of iron to the trenches and make individual shelters for themselves. We climb over the parapet in turns, and only if absolutely necessary. Ninety percent of the time we spend at the bottom of the trenches.
✔️ Not all men can bear it - some of them, even those who joined the army voluntarily, after sitting in trenches under constant shelling, try to go to the rear under any pretext. Unfortunately, sometimes there are real epidemics of panic - entire units leave their positions. We call them "skiers", from the saying "to hop on skis", that means to run away. Thus they strip whole districts kilometres long. The saddest thing is that the Russians quickly become aware of such escapes through aerial reconnaissance by drones and they immediately try to wedge into empty sections of the front.
✔️ The territorial defense brigades are considered to be the most unreliable among those holding positions. They have many random people who enlisted in the territorial defense after February 24, fancying that this war would be like Maidan or ATO. And that Russian tanks could be hit with a Molotov cocktail. But this war is different.
✔️ We don't discuss the offensive on Kherson at all. This matter is irrelevant now. Until the Russians get pounded with artillery at least as much as they pound us, any offensive is out of the question. Now for every one of our artillery rounds we get fifty from their side.
✔️ The shells for Soviet howitzers, which are still largely in service with the AFU, are disastrously scarce, they are worth their weight in gold. The same applies to mortar rounds, and the mortars themselves. Mortars in positions are also consumables, they survive no more than a week or two, they are located by drones and quickly knocked out. Therefore, mortar crews, having fired a round or two, run tens of meters away and hide in the trenches. They have neither the strength nor the ability to pull the mortars with them. In a couple of minutes the response is a return strike.... That's the way we fight.

Attention. Translated from Ukrainian channel:
Ukrainian Natalya Vovk, whom Russia accuses of the murder of Daria Dugina, was allegedly found dead in Austria. This is reported by the local edition of Exxpress without reference to official sources.
“At night, she was found dead in a rented apartment. With 17 stab wounds on her body and a piece of paper in her hand,” the publication quotes a message that, according to the newspaper, is distributed in Telegram.
Nothing is reported about the fate of Vovk's daughter, who left Russia with her mother through Estonia to the West.
Probably, to soon to be true. Although, who knows.

Translated from a very well informed person:
Today, at the Council of the State Duma, we supported the appeal to the UN regarding the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by Ukraine. If international organizations fail to cool the ardor of the Ukrainian government, we risk getting not just a second Chernobyl, but a much more terrible catastrophe. Not for Russia, but for the entire European continent.
The situation with the shelling of the ZNPP has three sides: strategic, military and economic. And in all three, the Ukrainian government demonstrates complete irresponsibility and inadequacy.
Strategically, the shelling of the ZNPP is a sign of desperation and impotence. That's not how they behave when they plan to win. This is what they do when they understand that defeat is inevitable. It’s impossible to recapture the nuclear power plant and the region, so let everything blow up. Suicidal and irresponsible logic.
From a military point of view, shelling is meaningless. ZNPP is a powerful and reliable Soviet-built facility. It cannot be destroyed by the weapons that Ukraine has, including Western supplies. But it is possible to destroy storage facilities for nuclear waste and poison the air, soil and rivers with radiation for tens or hundreds of kilometers. Turn the ZNPP into a "dirty bomb".
And about the economy. Ukraine's goal is clear: it wants either to keep ZNPP as part of the Ukrainian energy system in order to sell electricity abroad, or to achieve its conservation and thereby create a shortage of electricity in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. De-energize the liberated territories. Again, the logic of the terrorists.
American "experts" and "advisers" turn a blind eye to all this madness. The very ones that once scared everyone with a “dirty bomb” that Arab terrorists could assemble. And now the Ukrainian authorities are preparing in front of the whole world.
The US position is clear. Nothing personal just business. But is it worth putting the future of Europe and the lives of millions of people at stake? Let the United Nations answer this question. The sooner, the better.

Blocks of flats are hit in Energodar (the town, where the Zaporozhye NPP is located). That is how Ukrainian authorities are "taking care" of people, who they consider to be their citizens. US supplied M777 howitzers were used.

What about export of Ukrainian grain to Africa and worldwide?
Was it all about preventing food shortage or making a source of extra income for Turkey?
