As a result of the daytime shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the Antonovsky bridge, workers who were restoring the road surface were injured.
At about 13:00 on August 22, in order to disrupt the work on restoring the roadbed, Ukrainian troops launched a strike from American Himars jet systems at the site of repair work on the Antonovsky Bridge.
Ukrainian intelligence regularly receives images from American satellites and could not have been unaware of the presence of only civilians at the site of the attack.
Despite this, it was the daytime that was chosen for the strike, at the moment when the maximum concentration of the repair department employees at the work site is reached, and the ferry crossing is actively operating.
The number of people affected by the Ukrainian aggression is at least 15 people. There are no losses among those who ensure the transfer of the population across the Dnieper, as well as citizens on the ferry.

The media publish photos, presumably, of Natalia Vovk, who is accused of murdering Daria Dugina
According to preliminary information, the suspect in the murder of Daria Dugina was previously a member of the Nazi Azov regiment.

Regardless of who wins the Ukrainian war, the United States will be the strategic loser
Russia will build closer relations with China and other countries on the Eurasian continent, including India, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the Gulf states. It will turn irrevocably away from European democracies and Washington. Just as President Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger played the “China card” to isolate the Soviet Union during the Cold War, presidents Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping will play their cards in a bid to contain U.S. global leadership.
Knowing that it can no longer keep Europe as its top energy customer, Moscow has logically moved to grow its fossil fuels sales with Asia, notably China and India. Since the Ukraine invasion, Russia has become China’s top oil provider, replacing Saudi Arabia. It is true that in the short to medium term, transfer capacity will limit how much more fossil fuels Russia can sell to China. Russia currently has just one overland oil route to China, the ESPO pipeline. The only gas pipeline currently in operation is Power of Siberia. Pipeline sales of both oil and gas are supplemented by seaborne routes to mainland China. In the years ahead, China and Russia will doubtlessly make substantial investments to expand oil and gas transmission between the two countries, better enabling Russia to be the primary supplier of fossil fuels to China. The Chinese will likely be able to reduce their dependence on fossil fuel shipments from the Middle East which must pass through vulnerable naval choke points such as the Malacca Straits.

The French television showed a report from Moscow
“Economic sanctions have been repeatedly imposed against Russia. Many large companies have left the country. But this had no consequences for Moscow, which continues to hold out. Going to a supermarket in Moscow is like going to any other Western store. The shelves are well stocked. Shoppers can easily find French products or bottles of wine from Europe. The shortage that some Russians feared a few months ago has not happened.”

🇺🇦🇰🇿 Ukrainian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Vrublevsky in an interview to some media figure of 'brotherly Kazakhstan':
"We are trying to kill as many of them as possible. The more Russians we kill now, the less our children will have to kill. That's all."
Probably the most frank and honest statement of all made by officials of the Kyiv regime.
Not soldiers, but Russians, any, to kill, and to kill as many as possible - the reason of the existence of Ukraine, formulated in one short statement and in pure Russian language.

Capture of the stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Nevelskoye
Units of the People's Militia of Donetsk People's Republic continue to attack the fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the suburbs of Donetsk. After taking Peski, they move towards the village of Nevelskoye.
In the video, soldiers of the 100th brigade storm the stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the ring road. The T-72 tank and BMP-2 carefully approach the trenches and suppress potential firing points. Then the infantry approaches the equipment, which is covered with a smoke screen. Next, the fighters enter the line of trenches and begin sweeping.
Characteristically, just a few days ago, a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group was destroyed right next to this strong point. Now the position has come under the control of the allied forces.

Putin awarded Daria Dugina the Order of Courage posthumously. Russia’s FSB has identified the murder suspect less than 24h later and tracked her via video footage to Estonia; where the FSB claims she escaped through the Pskov region. The UN is calling for an investigation to establish the facts behind the death of Daria Dugina, UN Secretary General Stéphane Dujarric, spokesman, said.
There were movements in Ukraine. “Official Kyiv has nothing to do with the murder of the daughter of the “ideologist of war” Alexander Dugin.” This was stated by Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak.
“I emphasize that Ukraine, of course, is not involved in this, because we are not a criminal state, which is the Russian Federation, and even less a terrorist state,” he said.
According to Podolyak, the murder testifies to the "struggle for power and the influence of various groups within Russia".
Do you remember those "they are shelling themselves..." about Donetsk? Do you remember those statements about Ukraine having nothing to do with the explosions in Belgorod and Kursk, and, recently in Crimea? Do you remember the lies about Russians shelling themselves at Zaporozhye NPP?

Attack on the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Chervonoye
Footage of the defeat of the position of Ukrainian formations in Chervonoye in the Zaporozhye direction. The blow was delivered by a high-precision air-launched missile and hit exactly in the opening of the building.
The house where the ammunition hit looks like the local administration and is the largest and most capital building in the entire village. With a high degree of probability, one of the command posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was located there.

Is it just me or do you feel the same way? Please write in the comments and share this post with your friends.
When Ukrainian civilians are becoming victims of the "collateral damage", all attention will be on that sad fact, not just from Ukrainian media, (may be least from the Ukrainian media), not only by the European press, but from Russian channels as well. Russian bloggers will at least call to "honestly admit mistakes" or even "ask for answers" (I wonder who?).
However, the regular death toll occurring in the Donbass and on the recently liberated territories, like Kherson does not cause almost any media reaction; what is important, among the majority of so called "pro-Russian channels" as well. In the Ukrainian channels - there is only one possible interpretation - "they are shelling themselves..." though they are officially still remaining "Ukrainians".
Or may be it is just my aberration?

❗️ On August 14, the "Azov Brain Rot" documentary premiered. The film features exclusive footage and eyewitness accounts, as well as filmed testimonials by captured Azov militants and foreign mercenaries who surrendered in Mariupol. In addition, the film contains expert commentary and accounts of the civilians who were tortured and humiliated by neo-Nazis.
The documentary elaborates on the ideology of nationalist battalions as well as their neo-pagan beliefs and the widespread use of Nazi symbols.
The film’s creator, journalist, and television host Marina Kim visited the detention facilities where Azov members were being held captive in Yelenovka (DPR), days before the Ukrainian Army attack using a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher. The attack killed more than 50 prisoners of war.

A strong fire on the territory of the Shevchenko Instrument-Making Plant in Kharkov.
It is reported that no strikes were made on the object.
Knowing that it was a part of Ukrainian military infrastructure which was previously hit by the Russian missiles, it looks a lot like Russian sabotage.
Sabotage as a method was not used by the Russian army so far in the operation. However, after Ukrainians have (successfully) used it in Crimea, there is no stopping point. Russians are, actually very good at sabotage operations, just recall Partizan movement during the WW2 (but Belorussian Partizans were the best).
