Ukrainian military is mounting high-res cameras on tall towers, residential buildings, water towers, communication antennas, etc — which are then used for adjusting artillery and surveillance.

The footage shows the use of Russia’s 9M123 Khrizantema ATGM, destroying the camera at a distance of 4 kilometres.

🇪🇪The Estonian Prime Minister orders Europe to stop tourism from Russia.

"Visiting Europe is a privilege, not a human right," Callas wrote on Twitter and called for a stop to issuing Schengen visas to Russians.

On our own behalf, we add that paragraph 2 of Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted at the UN General Assembly in 1948, states:

"Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and return to his own country."

But what is the UN and who is Callas.

The command post of the Air Forces of Ukraine was destroyed in the Vinnytsia region by a strike of high-precision missiles, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.

Is it a strike on a "decision making center?"
BERLIN, Aug 9 (Reuters) - Germany's economy will lose more than 260 billion euros ($265 billion) in added value by 2030 due to the Ukraine war and high energy prices, spelling negative effects for the labour market, according to a study by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB).

In comparison with expectations for a peaceful Europe, Germany's price-adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) will be 1.7% lower next year and there will be about 240,000 fewer people in employment, said the study published on Tuesday.

Well, you remember, Russia has lost about $300 billion of gold and currency reserves due to the sanctions. However, possessions of the Western companies are still in Russia... It looks like Germany will suffer most of all European countries. That's what happens when a government is setting somebody's else interests over their own people.

Attention. Translated from Ukrainian channel.

There has been a paradigm shift in attitudes towards Ukraine in the West. Anti-Ukrainian opinions are systematically released into the mainstream, which previously only marginal or third-rate media and politicians could afford. At the same time, as before, no one condemns them. The resource of "warming up" has been exhausted - it was undermined by the too frequent and massive use of outright fakes even for wartime.
"During the last several weeks, Russian officials conducted training in Iran as part of the agreement for UAV transfers from Iran to Russia," a US official told CNN. The official said the intelligence about the training has recently been declassified.

Good if true.

China has withdrawn a promise not to send troops or officials to Taiwan after its annexation, the white paper said. This is indicative of Xi Jinping's decision to grant the island less autonomy than previously suggested.

That's, probably, is the main consequence of Pelosi's visit.

⚠️ Kiev regime, under the pretext of allegedly searching for adjusters of air and artillery strikes of the Russian Armed Forces, plans to send a group of SSU and other security agencies to Kharkiv to conduct another large-scale punitive operation to identify citizens loyal to Russia (expressing pro-Russian views) and subsequently accuse them of "collaborationism".

▫️At the same time, SSU officers intend to use as grounds for detaining the city residents the histories of calls and SMS messages to Russian numbers found in their phones, correspondence in messengers condemning the current Ukrainian authorities, subscriptions in social networks to Russian channels, photo or video footage of the results of defeat of Ukrainian military facilities, and information from snitching on their neighbours, friends, relatives or acquaintances.

▫️Detained citizens will be subjected to threats of physical violence against their family members, violence and torture, as has already happened in Odessa, Nikolaev, Slavyansk, Sumy, Chernigov and a number of other populated areas.

❗️ We warn the international community in advance about this inhuman action being prepared by the criminal authorities in Kiev, which fully replicates the methods of the Nazis in the occupied territories during the Great Patriotic War.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇨🇳 The Washington Post expresses serious concern (https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/08/09/taiwan-pelosi-china-russia-cold-war /) the fact that the American leadership is taking on an impossible task — waging a "cold war" with Russia and China at the same time.

The unrest of Americans is generally understandable. The Cold War is not something that can be waged against everyone.

Their unspoken military concept is a military concept "1 — 2 — 4 — 1 "now it is undergoing a serious test.

In this concept, 1 is the protection of US national security.

2 is Washington's ability to conduct military operations simultaneously in two regional military conflicts.

4 is its ability to provide a military presence in four strategically important regions of the world.

And the last 1 is the readiness to wage one large—scale war.

Therefore, for American strategists, a cold war on two fronts is a disastrous, meaningless path, doomed to defeat. Because this is essentially preparation for two large—scale wars with different countries at the same time.

The American edition itself comes to disappointing conclusions: an attempt to play against everyone leads Washington to a dead end. This is an unnecessary strain for his NATO allies and at the same time his diplomatic loss: two-thirds of the world's population live in countries that did not support sanctions against Russia.

Actually, the sadness of the authors of the article is expressed in the following way: if the United States won one Cold War with a radical advantage, then they simply can not pull the second one.

A part of Peski settlement is still controlled by Ukrainean army, earlier reports of liberation were a bit premature.

There are no civilians living in Peski since 2015.

“There are no civilians living in Peski since 2015” is a rather interesting statement from the point of view of most countries. What was going on in Peski since 2015?

As the meta of fact all civilians forced to leave many years ago because constant shelling from Ukraine army. 😡
Reuters reported that the Ukrainian authorities managed to freeze payments on the country's external debt of $19.6 billion for two years. This decision will allow the country to avoid default, but it is not yet clear how this will affect lending.

According to Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, now it will be possible to save $5.8 billion on payments on external debt until 2024. The government said that the postponement of payments on external debt will make it possible to preserve the Ukrainian economy in the context of a military conflict.

This is a quite expected decision, since the default of Ukraine in the current conditions is not beneficial to Western countries. Such a scenario would hit the mood inside the country and could lead to public unrest, which is now being avoided.

In addition, the Ukrainian default will give grounds to accuse Ukrainian sponsors of insufficient support. And this may affect the political prospects of many pro-Ukrainian Western politicians.

Therefore, support for the Zelensky regime will continue, but to a limited extent. And in the future, more and more difficulties will arise with this.

Residents of Energodar report smoke clouds in the area of the Zaporozhye NPP. According to local sources, five rockets fell near the office not far from the storage of spent nuclear fuel (SNF), which was already the target of a strike last week. Another five "arrivals" were in the area of the fire station.

The situation clearly demonstrates that in the situation when the disconnection of the station from the Ukrainian power grid will happen soon, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will try by any means to damage the operation of the nuclear power plant. These will be rocket and artillery attacks, and the undermining of power lines, and the desire to destroy containers with spent nuclear fuel to create an environmental disaster.

For the Ukrainian leadership, the shutdown of the ZNPP and the creation of a local man-made disaster is a matter of principle. Against this background, no one cares about the people living in the liberated territories.
Scholz demanded that Russia urgently take the Siemens turbines for Nord Stream from Germany.

“Stop with illusory arguments saying that you don’t want it, take it, here it is!”

Russia's position remains unchanged; under the sanctions, supplies of Siemens equipment do not comply with the terms of the contract. In fact, the Germans are mockingly offered to deal with the consequences of their own sanctions on their own and Gazprom is not going to help Germany bypass its own sanctions against Russia.

All this is happening against the background of the cries of the big business in Germany, who demand that the Scholz multi-colored coalition resolve the issue of gas supplies for the winter, since Germany will certainly survive the gas crisis, but in the case of German industry, not everyone will survive. Therefore, through their lobbyists in the Bundestag and through public appeals in the press, big German capital demands that Scholz solve the problem. Hence the humiliating demands of Scholz to take away the German turbine in circumvention of German sanctions. Another question is that the Russian Federation understands all the difficulties of Scholz and is in no hurry to meet him, watching how the pressure inside Germany on Scholz and the company is growing.

Amnesty International has faced a moral dilemma

Western citizens are happy enough to light an Amnesty candle in support of prisoners of conscience in Myanmar, Iran or Cuba. However, the group has been lambasted for criticizing the United States for its use of indefinite detention without trial at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba for terrorism suspects after the 9/11 attacks, and likewise for comparing Israel’s treatment of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip to apartheid.

In seeking to use an objective ethical yardstick, Amnesty is facing the same moral dilemmas as reputable international news media.

"Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the Donetsk brewery. An ammonia leak has occurred.

[😲 "Exposure to high concentrations of ammonia in air causes immediate burning of the eyes, nose, throat and respiratory tract and can result in blindness, lung damage or death. Inhalation of lower concentrations can cause coughing, and nose and throat irritation."]

The affected area is 2 kilometers, according to the headquarters of the territorial defense of the DPR. Locals are advised not to go outside and not open windows."

⚡️ RT exclusive

The AFU hit a brewery in Donetsk with a 155-mm shell of the French CAESAR self-propelled gun.

Former special forces soldier Adrian Boke, who now works in the Donbass, filmed fragments of a projectile on the territory of the plant specifically for RT. He was the first, together with the IC investigators, to be at the scene of the emergency.

"I managed to identify the projectile. This is a French shell from the expired stocks of the French army.
Some shells got stuck in the ground and did not explode because they are of poor quality!" says Boke.

According to him, a total of four ammunition did not explode. As Boke says, if all of them had worked and all the ammonia tanks had been damaged, thousands of people could have suffered.
