Arsen Popov, a 15-year-old resident of Mariupol, was awarded one of them. At the most terrible time, when there were battles for the city, the teenager was one of the first to go to the local hospital as a volunteer.

The brave boy carried wounded DPR fighters and civilians out of the shelling and destroyed houses, helped doctors and dismantled the rubble. He worked on a par with adults. Doctors of the Mariupol hospital recall that at first Arsen just brought water, and then he began to help doctors rescue the wounded. He wasn't even afraid of the sight of blood.

Dikson, with a population of 676, is one of the world's most northerly settlements, named after Swedish explorer Baron Oscar Dickson.
