Donald Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton admitted to CNN that he was involved in organizing coups d'état in other countries.

During the conversation, the journalist recalled the storming of the Capitol last year by Trump supporters and suggested that "you do not need to have a brilliant mind" to prepare.

Bolton replied, "As someone who has helped plan coups—not here, but in other parts of the world—I disagree. It takes a lot of work." In which countries the US carried out coup d'état, he did not specify.

However, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that officials had not spoken about this before: "this requires a reaction and analysis."

Eva, daughter of the regiment. Russian soldiers bring back the girl's childhood stolen by the Ukrainian army.
«My dear Russian soldiers» - that's what Eva calls Russian sappers. They are taking care of this lovely child, who recognized them as friends and defenders at first sight. Such a status can only be earned by actions and deeds, and the sappers have done a lot to revive peaceful life in Ukrainian territory liberated from the Nazis.

Financial Times: Nato and EU sound alarm over risk of Ukraine weapons smuggling

Nato and EU states are pushing for better tracking of weapons supplied to Ukraine in response to fears that criminal groups are smuggling them out of the country and on to Europe’s black market.

Since Russia launched its war against Ukraine, western states have pledged more than $10bn in military support, from portable rocket launchers and armoured vehicles to rifles and vast amounts of ammunition.

“All these weapons land in southern Poland, get shipped to the border and then are just divided up into vehicles to cross: trucks, vans, sometimes private cars,” said one of the western officials. “And from that moment we go blank on their location and we have no idea where they go, where they are used or even if they stay in the country.”

May just be a coincidence but it also is timely with the news of Iranian drones.

The Middle East has increased fuel purchases in Russia by five times.

"The Russian fuel avoided in Europe is flowing to the Middle East," writes Bloomberg.

The flow of diesel and other fuel from Russia has been growing every month since February. According to Vortexa Ltd, in June they reached 155 thousand barrels per day, with less than 30 thousand in February.

In July, analysts predict 220 thousand barrels per day, the agency reports.

A new benefit for Russia from anti-Russian sanctions 😎

Following Saudi Arabia and the UAE, another oil-producing country is going to buy Russian oil products. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro said that his country is close to concluding a contract with Russia for the purchase of diesel fuel, which will be much cheaper than it costs them now.

Western sanctions against Russia have created unique conditions for all countries that do not adhere to them. And if India and China simply buy Russian oil, gas and coal at a discount, which allows them to gain a competitive advantage in the form of lower production costs of their goods, then oil-producing countries win twice.

Firstly, they receive cheaper petroleum products, and secondly, they can sell their oil in full to the very countries of the collective West that have abandoned Russian oil. Sanctions certainly work, but clearly not in the way their initiators expected. 😜

🇩🇪"A shot in the leg" has been announced.

Germany will completely stop buying Russian coal on August 1, and from December 31 it will also abandon Russian oil, the assistant to the German Chancellor for Economic Affairs said.

Jorg Kukis noted that the plans also include the search for solutions to abandon Russian gas.

The bills for sanctions will grow.

The black market of weapons is very grateful to Western countries, especially the United States, for regular large arms supplies to Ukraine.

⚠️ Furthermore, despite the threat of a food crisis, Ukrainian armed groups continue using the food industry for military purposes:

🔹 in the Donetsk People's Republic, at the bakery plant (Slavyansk, Bogomoltsa ln.) and the dairy plant (Kramatorsk, Geroyev Soyuza st.), units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have deployed their firing positions, armoured vehicles, artillery guns and MRLS, as well as have been periodically launching attacks at settlements;

🔹 in Kharkov, at the bakery plant №11 (Gvardeytsev-Shironinysev st.), nationalists have deployed long-range artillery and MRLS, while residents of local buildings have been deliberately left without evacuation.

🔹 These facts show again the indifference of Ukrainian authorities to the lives of civilian population.

🔹 It occurs with the tacit consent of the western countries that continue turning a blind eye to the numerous war crimes of the Kiev regime.

Footage of the collapsed Ukrainian M777 storage after Russian strike. Barrels and other parts of the howitzers can be seen among the debris.
"Expert" views, we make take them, or drop them. Just for general information...

"The second phase of this war has seen Russia returning to basics," Max Bergmann, the director of the Europe program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, told CNN.
That has resulted in sluggish but steady progress for Russia, which has won several weekslong battles for strategic cities and exposed limitations in Ukraine's arsenal. "They've used their mass, their artillery assets, and (have been) pummeling Ukrainian forces while operating in a slow grind," Bergmann said.
LUGANSK, July 13 - RIA Novosti. The allied forces of Russia and the Lugansk People's Republic entered the outskirts of Soledar in the Donbass, Vitaly Kiselev, assistant to the head of the LPR Ministry of Internal Affairs, told RIA Novosti.

"The Special Military Operation continues to liberate settlements that were under occupation from the Nazi junta. Our motorized rifle units entered the outskirts of Soledar," he said.

It is noted that the following artillery units took possession of an ammunition depot of about six thousand pieces of 122 mm caliber.
Soledar is a city in the DPR, located near its eastern border with the Luhansk region and under the control of Kyiv. LPR units are developing an offensive against these areas.

Next week, according to Akar, the Ukrainian and Russian delegations will meet again in Turkey to discuss the "grain issue."
"We will try to draw certain conclusions by carrying out our work in coordination with the UN <...> all the details will be reviewed again, and we will sign the work we have done," the minister said.

Lithuania agreed to comply with new EU rules on transit to Kaliningrad
13.07.2022 - 21:11

Lithuania positively assesses the recommendations of the European Commission to allow transit to Kaliningrad by rail and intends to adhere to them in order not to “split the transatlantic unity”. This was stated in the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry.

“We have always said that there can be no special exceptions and regime for the territories of different EU member states, therefore we positively assess the fact that this interpretation, which is fair for all EU member states, does not create such a precedent,” the message says. .

Lithuania says that “being a member of the transatlantic community and a consistent ally”, they cannot ignore the positions of their colleagues, especially given the Kremlin’s intentions to sow a “split in transatlantic unity”, therefore they will continue to adhere to a unified and coordinated EU sanctions policy.

At the same time, “Lithuania understands that the published new EU sanctions instructions may create an unfounded impression that the transatlantic community is softening its position and sanctions policy towards Russia.”

Thus, the Lithuanians agreed to the transit scheme proposed by the European Commission that the transit of sanctioned Russian cargo to Kaliningrad is allowed by rail.

Earlier, Lithuania was going to veto the decision of the European Commission, allowing the transit of goods to Kaliningrad.
