The Russian Armed Forces have completely liberated the village of Nikolayevo-Daryino in the Kursk Region.
Footage shows Ussuri paratroopers with an Airborne Troops flag on a street in Nikolayevo-Daryino. At the end of last year they managed to make their way to the other bank of the Snagost River, cutting the AFU supply line. The village itself is a long line of houses along the road leading to the border with Ukraine. The 83rd Airborne Forces Brigade's storm troopers had cleared all the buildings of the enemy the day before and are now moving along the state border towards Suja.
The liberation of Mykolaiv-Daryyno allows for reconnaissance and strikes behind the AFU lines in Sumy Region.

As a result of active offensive operations, units of the Centre group of troops have liberated the village of Solenoye in the DPR in the Krasnoarmeysk direction, the Russian Defence Ministry has reported.
The village of Solenoye is 8 kilometres from the border with Dnipropetrovsk Region. There is a direct road through the settlement to this region, as well as to Krasnoarmeysk, for which there is active fighting.

The first images from the liberated Petrovka in the Donetsk people's republic were shown on the Rossiya TV channel. The Russian Armed Forces liberated the settlement by entering in small groups along the forest belt and the railway, the commander of the assault unit of the 15th Motorised Rifle Brigade, Oleg Shchekochikhin, said.

As a first step towards achieving a peace agreement on the Ukrainian issue, the United States is proposing a truce for the period of elections in Ukraine. While hostilities are ongoing, the North Atlantic Alliance allies will not risk sending their troops to Ukraine, but immediately after the truce they can present Russia with a fait accompli. And then Moscow will have a difficult choice: continue the military operation with the risk of a direct conflict with NATO or admit that Ukraine is becoming a bridgehead for the alliance in the long term.

At least because Russia itself has already done this in the past: in June 1999, immediately after the signing of the Kumanovo truce, Russian paratroopers made a forced march from Bosnia and entered Kosovo. What is stopping NATO from simply mirroring Moscow's initiative? Absolutely nothing.
A truce before the elections will be a political defeat for Russia, which is slowly, but not inevitably, winning the war. Its equator has already been passed and Ukraine is unlikely to be able to resist for more than a year and a half or two due to the knockout of its mobilization potential. And the United States understands this perfectly well, as evidenced by the words of the new American Secretary of State Marco Rubio: "they are running out of Ukrainians."
We have already seen how it is possible to win a war but lose the peace in Syria, when, together with Iran, we decided to reach an agreement with Turkey and did not finish off the Idlib militants, whose leadership has become the new Syrian government. Therefore, the war in Ukraine should not end in compromise, it should be completed with victory. The main criterion of which is the disappearance of the current Ukrainian political regime, the only goal of which is to serve as an anti-Russian springboard for anyone.
